  1. We're being cheap and packing ourself, that could be good. They woke me up at 8am dumping a huuuuge pile of flatpacked cardboard boxes in our house, I think you're on to a winner. Actually, all things considered, it's probably not a great idea to piss off the guys that have your entire worldly possessions in their truck... Try emailing your local newspaper telling them a local village hall is contaminated with Dihydrogen Monoxide, it works surprisingly well, they wanted to interview me and rang the local GPs to see what the risk was. And they said... I tried to get my friends dad who is a GP to make up some risks when they rang him but he wouldn't
  2. That really would be a head f**k, what with april fools not being until Wednesday... Make sure you do it to a toilet that no adults use, a mate of mine put cling film over a toilet that unbeknown to him was used by the second highest ranking person on a big raf base, we saw him come out of the toilet with wet trousers and he was unimpressed to say the least I'm moving house on wednesday, maybe I could prank the removal men...
  3. No it isn't, but I have had some interesting anal related happenings in the past... Thankfully only the girl has ever been affected
  4. Wait 'til you've tried it then see if you still have the same opinion...
  5. It has euro brakes That'd be confusing as anything. Wouldn't have thought it is nicked, just not used for trials judging by the seat and peg...
  6. The only time I ever use an mp3 player is to plug it into speakers via a 3.5mm jack, this would me totally useless to me.
  7. I like the frame a lot! Any idea of price? Edit: ah, £390, nice...
  8. Have a look on the website for the train company that operates the service, not all companies are fine with it. I've never had a problem with it on any of the trains around here.
  9. Send her my way Joe... I'm in need of a good comedy f**k.
  10. I was hoping i'd manage to avoid her completely today, but i'm going to a restaurant her friend owns this evening to play the piano and she's going to be there so i'll have to get her a card... bollocks
  11. I sent my mom a happy mothers day gift on Facebook.
  12. Damn, he's going to be unstoppable when he's older... Impressive stuff.
  13. I went to see The Watchmen and I didn't have a clue what was going on, also it ended about an hour and a half after where I felt the natural ending was...
  14. Oh man I like it, I think you win... And to simpson, I think everything I've mentioned in this thread is from peep show
  15. There are practical musicianship exams or the jazz exams that can be taken at grade 5 level instead of theory. That said the theory isn't particularly hard as long as you have a teacher to check your working, I started learning theory 2 weeks before the exam and got a merit...
  16. Congratulations, you've just written the gayest lyrics i've heard for a long time. And not in a good way.
  17. Executioner's bong. Curse these metal hands.
  18. Because when you're at a rave, after you've shown girls your bottle opener belt, and your massive 285hv, and your "save the rave t-shirt", you can ask them if they want to see your Rolex...
  19. I'd be pretty impressed if he could shave the Rolex crown out of the hair, he'd need some stomach hair for it to work well though.
  20. One day i'm considering putting some proper music on my iPhone. Until that day i'm rockin' out to some Mc Dicko... Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  21. New, somewhere between £60,000 and £120,000 depending on the make. You can get steinways in similar condition to the one I posted, i.e. in need of a lot of work for about £18-19,000. A good old concert grand in great shape would be about £30-70,000 for a top make, and about £20,000 for a lesser make. An old concert grand in need of a lot of work that isn't a steinway or a bosendorfer is about £2000 Surprisingly smaller pianos tend to hold their value better, people can fit a 6 foot piano in their house but not a 9 foot... A used 6 foot steinway would be about £50,000, a 9 foot one in the same condition would be about £30,000.
  22. That steinway is a pretty bad example of one, it was knackered after 30 years of abuse by trainee marine pianists, though on the whole steinways aren't as fantastic as people make them out to be. All the good ones get kept by steinway in a "secret" cellar in Marylebone Lane and used for concert halls, the naff ones get sold to the public
