  1. Hahaha that's one of the silliest things i've seen in years
  2. I'd say stock with slightly more bb rise, around 40mm. That'll give you a mod feel with the possibility of running gears.
  3. That DIY manual is missing one important thing, that square-ish part which the TPA adjuster sits on needs to be permanently glued into the lever.
  4. That's a popular misconception. High bb bikes are difficult to bunnyhop because of the stems that are used. The rise itself makes bunnyhops easier. For example, a Control with a short and low stem will be much more difficult to bunnyhop than an old A1 with the same stem Generally the shorter the stem, the easier it is to bunnyhop a frame. But with high bb bikes, a short stem is jolly uncomfortable. Perhaps change over to a different frame?
  5. That changes everything, didn't know that. Will edit once I've listened to the new remix and made up my mind. edit: I like this one much more. Here's some (hopefully) constructive criticism from someone with no knowledge on music. As previously, it lacks body and flow in some places if you get me. Some moments just don't fit in, like those where there's almost complete silence and no beat. The tune itself is great, you've got a very good solid base to improve and create a real masterpiece. Keep working on it man.
  6. Oh right, so everything apart from her vocals is made from scratch?
  7. That accent, voice and intonation is horrible. Just by listening to it you know it's not going to contain too much genuine information. Still, every little bit of publicity for trials is a good thing. But why can't the Americans learn to speak properly.
  8. Might get some pics tomorrow, unfortunately it's been fairly dry or very wet so the car is still quite clean.
  9. At what point have any of you thought "48/72ep's is not enough for me, I need MORE!!!!"
  10. Same here. For me, improvement though slow comes from normal riding and just enjoying myself without trying to do something new. It's much more fun than treating trials seriously and trying to nail something 50 times. Even if you do nail whatever you're trying in the end, it doesn't really mean you've improved. You've just tried it so many times, that you were bound to get it right in the end. As for winter, I'm waiting for some snow so I can ride double disc. Having done that i'll probably lock the bike up somewhere and wait for spring.
  11. This can be done in 5 minutes riding around your hose, you need this: Spray the rotor on both sides, ride around dragging the brake then before it dries out, spray it again washing off the black dirt. Repeat 5-6 times. The key to this is keeping the rotor wet all the time. When the brake is bed in, normal braking will be dead silent. If it's still making a rubbing noise, it still needs some bedding in.
  12. Echo ones are great, running them on my maggies. Such an improvement, more power, more comfortable and more responsive due to the longer travel. You need the 2008 Echo's, the SL's are pretty much the same yet cost more.
  13. It's fixed at 15%. Anyway, cool idea. Sticky in NMC maybe? They should be introduced to the TF tapemeasure as early as possible.
  14. I don't think the TF tapemeasure is linear. The further/higher it gets, the bigger the difference between the real and claimed values. However, it flattens out when the claimed values get close to the world records.
  15. Don't know much about cats but surely you could treat it with some anti-balding shampoo? If it's loosing too much hair, there must be something wrong with it.
  16. Love it! Horrific weight though, what were they thinking?
  17. Well yes, if you value your privacy it means there are things you'd rather keep private, like for instance what's on your phone. There's nothing wrong with that. I hate people going through my phone, even if it's just checking it's functions. Same with the laptop, you don't want people going through everything you've got on it, do you?
  18. Girls have shorter legs? Surely not. That's the most horrible thing I've seen in the last 24 hours.
  19. Fair play, perhaps Zoo bars came in 3 versions. The Zoo's I compared the Trialtech to weren't the 20mm risers from the last 2 years released alongside the Adamant and GU bars.
  20. They're not, Trialtechs have more rise.
  21. Among all the trials components, rims have the most inconsistent weight of them all. So you can't compare a TryAll and Trialtech by their weight. Indeed the rear rims are the same, the front ones are a bit different. I don't remember the figures exactly but the TT Sport rims weighed between 680-730g. That's 50g difference. Echo SL's are more consistent but I've managed to catch one out which was around 80g lighter than the rest. This inconsistency is quite nice though, if you're a weight weenie you can sort yourself out with a fairly light pair.
