  1. So you're suggesting they should go with the times and build long and low frames? So what will people ride if they want a very short, durable and light frame with a disc mount? Frankly speaking, it's not what people do, it's the fashion for bikes. Have a look at the Koxx team. Most, if not all the mod riders ride short (1000mm) bikes. If long bikes were better, they'd ride them wouldn't they? Oh, and you complain that these frames cost 530 quid. Just one question: why do you insist on paying so much for them if you can get a full build for under 1 grand inc. postage (ie. from Spain?). That's less than a crap Deng bike and you get much better components and a dual disc setup.
  2. The GU is longer than the ZOO and feels very much longer. Fact (measured by me). Go for the short GU. It's got a 1010mm wheelbase, and with shorter chainstays than the zoo you still get a similar amount of cockpit space but have the benefit of riding a short bike.
  3. The easiest thing you could have done was to heat the frame up with a blow torch. Aluminium expands very much quicker than steel. And before you say that something will happen to the frame - no, it won't. Not at such low temperatures. I used this method for unscrewing chainrings, freewheels, bb's and it always worked fine.
  4. I think Adam would win. With his eyes closed he looks almost as dangerous as the Lawnmower Man or Master Yoda. As we all know from documentaries like Star Wars, closed eyes normally mean serious trouble. And there must be a reason for which Dave always answers the phone?
  5. Keep them silver. Beautiful bike. I'm sure OBM will write that fluo rims look great but don't you listen to him. He always approves of them.
  6. Whatever you do: 1. Be anonymous, that way you'll never regret what you've done 2. Don't mess around with his car. If he does have an accident he might kill somebody else - ie. a pedestrian.
  7. Have a look at this then. Pictures should be enough for you to understand the problem and what to do with a damaged lever. As far as I know, this lad has been using his for over 2 years and it's fine. It's not a matter of seals.

    Fears

Fast trains passing nearby (thank god we don't have too many of these over here ) and hights/cliffs, pretty much anything that can kill you quickly if you want it. Also, spiders with thin legs in places I don't expect them to be. Quite fond of tarantulas though.

  10. Nasty Looks like he was in quite a bad way...
  11. I'd go for the Simtra design. I wouldn't say that having a huge block of metal act as the adaptor and dropouts is a good idea. It won't help much. My friend had a Megamo Equip Pro with 2 disc brakes (8" rear) and it took 4 years of constant abuse before it cracked. His mount was slightly different to the picture you put up.
  12. Do you know how many owners it had? I got it from The Munn.
  13. Bloody hell!!! That stuff you did without the chain was truly amazing Great video!
  14. And what's wrong with that? I actually think trials is about having fun and not just impressing your mates.
  15. 1. Open the M3U file (or files) in Winamp 2. Go to Options>Visualization>Select plug-in 3. Go to the output tab and select Nullsoft Disk Writer plug-in 4. Press configure 5. Select the directory you want it to place the converted .wav file(s) in 6. Close close the windows and go back to winamp. 7. Make sure the "repeat" is off in winamp and click play. This will make it convert the files. You should then have a .wav file in the folder you specified. Next you use a program like CD-ex to convert it into an MP3. Winamp will convert all the files you add to the playlist. Be sure to switch the plugin off or you won't be able to listen to music. You can do this by repeating step 2 and on step 3 just select DirectSound output. Hope this is a bit more understandable.
  16. I'd write one or two things but there's no dictionary that will translate what I have in mind

  18. Greetings

    Snapped.

    Shit happens Nice bike though.
  19. Hugged a random girl on the street when my mate told me over the phone something that made me very happy. That girl walked away in a quick pace.
  20. It depends on what you want to ride. 26 for street, 20 for natural. Got 2 bikes at the moment and I far more enjoy riding a stock, it's so much easier and more fun! But on natural it's only a 20" bike. A stock is clumsy.
  21. Putting up some pics before it changes into the "long low and black". It's an Echo Pure 1060. Looks lovely Rides well despite an aprox. -20mm bb rise. Equipped with burns, king, hope, ashton, monty and so on. And yes, you have seen it before Going to post some pics after I get the new frame. Stocks ***!
  22. I'm not a fan of movies and so my views are a bit out of date IMO it'd be some scene from 2001. Maybe the moment where the monkeys start using tools. Or the ending of the film.
  23. If Winamp reads them you can have it export all the mu3 files to .wav (disk-writer plugin) and then convert them with a wav>mp3 compressor. Also, try changing the extension from mu3 to mp3.
