my TDF and Langster. had the fixie since 08; as standard except for superstar pedals + mudguards... i'm really pleased with it! tdf was a skanky bargain, put some carbon bars + forks on it, got a brooks saddle coming soon too.

would recommend the superstar ultra mag pedal. i've smashed one pedal pin since buying them, they've handled my heft really well so far. although i haven't riden a huge amount this year

Since wheel size banter is the trend on every other cycling site, do you think we'll wind up using the new sizes or is 26" as big as we need? i know trials is slow to follow trends but do you ever imagine it creeping in?

its f**king awesome, i don't know how i thought my cateye was good. it's fricken sweet! the main bit of the beam is noticeable even if i aim it into a car lights main point of focus. so pleased.

my only irk is that no instruction on charging was given with the light. so i'm a little in the dark about what to do

the helmet has a nice dip where the baseplate fits securely. it's not too heavy. and this way it's at the highest point, so i feel it will make me easier to spot. I had a quick sit on my bike with it on and i can illuminate my rear cassette so i know what gear i'm in which is rad. i can see my shifter indicators consistently too. which is an improvement.

they have arrived. light output is amazing! battery is heavy, i wanted to mount the battery and the light to my helmet but it was far to heavy. but the cable is long enough to reach my belt/pocket/jersey back pocket. will post up again after i've charged and emptied a battery.

plus theres the whole disposal of nasty chemicals bit...

wouldn't a roady with a tiny inner ring help you master the hills and make you a fitter beast? and make you feel like more of a champ....

i have this light currently. it will be staying on my bike and paired with the ebay one. think i'll buy an extra battery so i don't get caught out. my concern with the cateye that i have is that the battery is internal and i can't tell how much power is available, so having the beefy 2nd light with a spare battery means i won't go without. thanks guys.

Hey y'all, i've turned into a bit of a roady geek lately and i'm commuting in the dark on weekends. i want moar lights as the majority of my route is unlit. i have a decent cateye light that i run on my bars, it's enough but these look like a bit of a steal. i've seen the 1 led version and i was impressed by the quality. just thought i'd post up and ask if anyone had any opinions or thoughts. cheers
