That was easily one of the best episodes of Top Gear ever.
I do like the ones where they're pratting about, but episodes like tonights really sets out what cars are all about. I mean a car that (a very rich) Joe Public can buy doing 267mph!!
and that Ayrton Senna tribute was amazing. He's always been my No1 driver of all time and it was actually quite emotional to watch.
I rode a T-Pro for a while and I'm 6'5", I had no problems with it.
If it feels uncomfortable then maybe a longer frame is for you, but as already said there's no fixed rules, it's just down to preference.
I'd think about changing your gear ratio slightly. I remember when i had to run 22-12 for a couple of days, it was such a ball-ache even now when I'm running 20-15 it feels a little too high.
But apart from that you should be fine. You can ride trials on any bike
I have to admit my only real problem with the white tyres (other than the fact they look ) is that in a few months, unless you clean your bike every day, they won't be true white. So i don't see the point in paying the extra money.
^^Why?^^
I'm not saying that this is the best topic ever.
But I have to say that its rather annoying seeing the same people pop up, trying to score 'brownie points' with other members by flaming someone from NMC for the tiniest thing.
If you had something constructive to say i'd understand.
I know i don't ride mod but my mate Dan does and he recently purchased the Monty Eagle claw and i have to say for the £11 its the steal of the century.
I have ridden his bike and the tyre does feel slightly bouncier. Also some of the stuff I've seen it grip on when dans pushing it beggars belief, Yesterday he sidehopped onto a concrete pipe and he landed right on the side and it gripped no problem.
So I'd say pay a bit extra and go for the monty
I have to ask this. Why did you remove the brake guides? It seems a bit pointless really for two reasons.
1) T-Pros have some of the best hose guides you can get.
2) Weight saved would be minimal especially as you would have to secure them some how (tape, ties etc)
Well I've used both and i can honestly say that i prefer an xc style helmet. Especially with summer fast approaching.
The pisspots just don't have enough cooling.
If you go for the Giro helmets then you're onto a winner.
