  1. Onza vp pedals. at £14 they're mega cheap and I've had mine for nearly two year without any problems. and the cages are very grippy and quite durable. I think that they're a bargain.
  2. 20 inch: Has to be the onza t-pro it was the perfect bike for the beginner right up to pro, and it also had really handy brake hose guides. 24 inch: can only really say the inspired because i haven't had much experience with these bikes. 26 inch: GU Typhoon, nice design and v.good geo, and far as i know it was built like a tank.
  3. I agree. I purchased a set of these about three years ago and they're are still going and i haven't had to tighten them once. Super grippy and lightweight. As for magnesium pedals they're o.k. if you can afford to keep buying new ones every six months or so. If you really want platform pedals the only viable option is the V8s because they're cheap(ish) durable and easy to maintain if you lose a pin or need to grease the bearings.
  4. For me it was seeing the Saracen MAD team at a show in Milton Keynes. I already had a 26" jump bike so i brought an Adamant A2 frame and Giant forks, got the rest of the parts from the jump bike and away i went. That was four years ago and I'm still riding the same frame
  5. Fook me! Massive respesct to danny. If you watch the video through on the VW site its like a making of version, plus it sort of explains what the video is about. Theres also a clip of a near miss on the massive 180 gap (actually soiled myself )
  6. I was just wondering, all those examples show higher air pressure applications, how well would it fare on pressures of 20 PSI or lower?
  7. http://6ft-midget.mybrute.com Easy one.
  8. Might need a dictionary though. But seriously I don't see you posting on here trying to help.
  9. You should be able to, but if your not sure then bolt your slaves in the clamps on your bike as far way from each other as they go, then measure the distance. If its a bit tight you could always invest in some offset clamps. Click here!
  10. He fell on a small stone on the edge of the track He was wearing some fox pads, but they don't have straps at the top so they just twisted leaving his knee unprotected.
  11. Yeah but he gained some plant life though.
  12. Better? lol Yeah he can't be bothered with the crutches, plus its easier to roll down the hills.
  13. Hope this is in the right place. A few weeks ago my mate entered a DH competition on the Aston Hill black run, but after the first 50 yards he had a small accident. It dont look like he'll be riding for a bit.
  14. I don't think that I'll be trying it my Onza Hog rim anytime soon then.
  15. You would need to get yours tested just in case you got peckish though. You'll never know what the Ford garage puts in their paint.
  16. ???? Cant really talk can you Dan. Remember the cable-tie single speed spacer?
  17. I run an avid ultimate on a 26" Reggie rim. Can't say I've had a problem with it. I'd recommend standard Avid black pads. Long lasting and plenty of bite.
  18. I've had my Echo cages for about a year too and I've had no problems so far, I've not even had to tighten them. Bargain for £12. I don't think that I would go back to platforms.
  19. The brake performs really well, it has excellent bite and the pads don't deteriorate as fast as I thought. I've had standard Avid black pads on for about 3 weeks now and they've hardly worn at all. As for the colour I hate it. I just haven't got around to stripping the paint. I want it raw again.
  20. Maybe the cut down bolt has a rough thread pattern on the end causing it to enter the heli-coil unevenly and damage the coil. But I'm not an expert so don't qoute me on it.
  21. Yeah for sure. Message me when your next about.
  22. The frame was raw but the bloke who had it off me painted it. I liked it better the other way. I'm from buckingham.
  23. As said in the title this is my Adamant A2. Its bout 2-3 years old. I swapped it for a Mod about a year ago and then got it back last month. All comments welcome.
  24. I think that holes are better than a grind as they don't wear out in a couple of weeks. As dan says the v-brake is immense it hasn't slipped once, not even in the wet. However i do find that I lose modulation. The brake is either on or off, so for riding between spots you can't really use the front brake, but thats the only downside i can see.
