Turn it in, someone else has lost it and I have done that myself so know how shitty it is, and how good it feels when you find out someone else has handed it in Also if you hand it in to police and the owner doesn't claim within 28 days (I think its 28 days), then its yours. Frooty

I still remember my first time, I couldn't keep it up myself either ......the front wheel that is. Best thing to practice is your balance, I remember just keeping balance, starting with 1 or both wheels hoping slightly, then moving to wheels slowly rolling to keep the balancing point. From then try keeping balance with your front wheel on a small wall, maybe half a foot high. Then try getting your bike up that same wall, which you will fail to do a lot but keep trying. From then you will just practice what feels right and make your own riding style, but first and foremost you need some balance on your bike in different positions. Frooty

Right the trial is this sunday, I am going to get up not to ride but just to get out for a bit and hopefully get some pics/vids Only problem, I never driven up there before and dont know the way, does anyone want a lift up there who knows the way (can pick up in Bradford/shipley/Keighley area), or even someone who is driving meet me somewhere so I can follow them. If I do give someone a lift up I'll be leaving before the trials over, so if you're competing I wont be able to give you a lift back down i'm afraid Cheers Frooty

There was a change, I never normally watch it but caught the last 20 mins of the results as nothing else was on and saw we were 3rd so thought id keep watching it. Apparently now half the votes come from the countries public phone in, and half from a panel of selected judges for that country, still doesn't stop favouritism though. 5th was indeed our finishing place, we wont ever win it again though. Wheyyy, a familiar face getting back into the scene, makes me wanna get my bike back out and lose some of the weight I put on. -
Right, I am currently (very slowly) gathering some trials for my first crack at a video. Anyone got any helpful tips on what you feel makes a good video or things that people often do to ruin a video and make if 'naff'. Bit I edited so far is only about a minutes worth but dont really look that good to me as it is Cheers Frooty

When I Got Home From Skiing This Was What Awaitted Me.
fruitbat replied to lil pads's topic in Riding Pictures
Pretty sweet I must say, who built it. That could be made into a damn good trials site with some hard work. BTW, on another matter, the time stamp on your camera is out by an hour Frooty -
When i used to ride I went through a stage of using water in my brakes (hs33's that is), it worked but I found it needed bleeding a lot more than when using oil and the pistons begun to wear out and stick after a short period, was told it was due to the oil acting as a lubricant too which makes sense. If you want my opinion from using both, I would say stick to oil, they are designed for oil and not really any massively noticable benefits from using water Frooty

some say he invented trials riding.....all we know is, he's called the STIG!

You really think the Glen is shit? You must not have explored properly, glen is a top spot for natural riding. Liam, I might be up there on Sunday night about half 5 doing some pics and vid with Wayne if you fancy it, be nice to catch up and I can always drop you off in Bradford on my way home. Frooty

Can Someone Explain The Golden Ratio In Very Dumbed Down Terms..
fruitbat replied to Davetrials's topic in Chit Chat
If you look at the link below on the pyramids bit that makes it make a little bit more sense. If the height was much higher then it wouldn't be in this 'golden ratio' so would look too 'pointy', and much lower would look too flat http://educ.queensu.ca/~fmc/october2001/GoldenArc.htm Frooty -
Can Someone Explain The Golden Ratio In Very Dumbed Down Terms..
fruitbat replied to Davetrials's topic in Chit Chat
If the ratio between the 2 single numbers is the same ratio as the differnce between the larger number and the sum of both numbers then this is classed as the golden ratio.I think thats the easiest way to explain it Frooty -
Well, I think thats unanimous, will give it a go Thanks guys Frooty

As the title says, can someone reccommend me some free video editing software that I can download, wanna give it a go but dont wanna pay for anythng initially in case I'm that bad Cheers Froot

I've been with O2 for 9 maybe 10 years now and never had 1 problem with them, in fact I would probably reccomend them to people. When was your new contract applicable from, and when you say new sim was it a new number or just a different sim? If you have been using your phone from a date on or after the date the new contract became applicable it shouldn't matter which sim you use as long as its the same number. Frooty
