  1. Ah, didn't know you could save games to hard-drive from disc - this may be a life game-saver Just been browsing t'interweb and found some details about it, anyone know if it can be done with MW2? Frooty
  2. Not sure what you mean about the heavy scrapes bit, does that partly repair the disc? Do you mean save game to the Xbox hard-drive? How is this done, and can I run the game from the hard-drive rather than disc?
  3. Not a happy bunny, MW2 disc stopped working other day, took it out and there is an almost perfect circle scratch on it, did some internet browsing and apparently this happens if you move the Xbox whilst game is running - but I did no such thing. Xbox remains perfectly flat, laid down under a TV cabinet, the only movement it ever gets is when I plug the controller in and load the disc. Took it to local game shop, they say it is actually laser burn caused by exactly the above (movement) - but sometimes it can be caused by simple day to day vibrations causing the game on an unsteady disc tray (bad Xbox design) to move slightly and get 'burnt' from the laser. They did some pretty intense buffing of the disc, it hasn't got rid of it totally but looks better - how it still doesn't f**king work - so I now no longer have a working MW2 and can't afford to buy a new one until end of April. Back to COD4 for me Frooty
  4. Myself and some school friends discussed this many years ago, and we concluded the worst (or most painful and fearful way to go) would be to be trapped between 2 large objects which slowly got closer and closer together, like at the rate of 1 mm every half hour, so you slowly feel the pressure build up and your body parts slowly crush under the weight, and eventually things would start 'popping' under the extreme pressure and pain wold be ever increasing before you finally died under the pressure. I know far too much thought went into that one, but it was a School discussion to pass time. If I was asked as a quick question, I would have to say drowning like most others Death overall scares me, not the fear of dying but the fear of not knowing whats next, is the end the end, or is there more out there? 5. I'll show you how to do it next time i'm online, think its you i've got added? (Fluid??) Frooty
  6. FOOK ME SIDEWAYS WITH A LUBED ONE I heard some ado about a fight, i'm not a big boxing fan (but do like watching a good boxing match when i'm in the mood for it), but my god that guy is big. Something is telling me this fight is gonna be over quickly if the big mofo can land a decent punch Frooty
  7. Yes, slowly tear off your foreskin, mash it up with some sweetcorn and cover your eyes with it, then settle down for a good night sleep. On a more serious note, why the hell did you eat raw meat, fool. Frooty
  8. Just what I was thinking, jaw almost dropped. I liked that, a lot. Good to see someone from the world of Trials has really 'made it', hopefully this will increase the attention given to trials. Frooty
  9. Congrats mate, kids are amazing things I have a 7 month old daughter now, loved every minute of it. Frooty
  10. I used to have a Hope Big 'un with Snowflake laced spokes It was uber strong but I noticed it came loose much more than standard 3cross lacing. As long as you keep an eye on it and tighten them up every so often you'll be fine Frooty
  11. I think he never intended to win it, think of the backlash if he swindled £175K off a casino. The guy was always going to get his 5K back and not a penny more. Derren knew which number it would land on and just picked a number next to it, still made it look pretty impressive. (probably more beleivable than getting the actual number too) Im a big Derren fan, but was dubious about that overall setup, I think the Casino looked a little bit like a setup. I know it was quiet but normally when they are that quiet the people who go there are regulars, and Derren probably won't be a regular in any Casino. Overall for the 4 events I have been dissapointed, but I still love some of the stuff he does. Frooty
  12. Dave, to me its like someone asking you/us how do you hold a bike on its back wheel and do what you do on a bike. Yes some of it is strength but untimately its all down to practice. Frooty
  13. I rode for about 4 or 5 years, then stopped for the last 4 years (been on a bike once or twice but nowt serious in that time) Really wanna get back into it, but i find myself aiming to do stuff I would have managed without thinking before, and really struggle to do it. Makes me not enjoy it at all, and so so hard to get back into it. 26 now with a wife and daughter, so even harder to get back into it. Frooty
  14. It does have some split screen capability. Look on some of the WMM forums, some people have written their own effects for you to download. They aint jaw dropping great but they work. Frooty
  15. Some people might shoot me for saying this, but Windows Movie Maker isn't bad for a freebie. Other than that, there is something called Sony Vegas, which isn't free but is cheap and is apparantly much better than Windows Movie Maker. Frooty
  16. I would come up to see some familiar faces, but i'm working that Sunday.....again Frooty
  17. I have seen one on PCworld with 800mhz for £549.99, not that expensive. I wouldn't say no to a £1500 laptop (for free), but I couldn't justify paying for it, but hey, if you got the money then why not. Frooty
  18. I've seen plenty of sites like this and often done some myself (without giving too much personal info of course) and never got anything out of them Let us know if you get this ipod in the post free. but I cannot see how they can offer things like that for so little effort Frooty
  19. He's gets his dad to do it for him...... Seriously though, like everyone else has said that is a lame arsed excuse. This is the reason there is a validation process, to stop lazy arse kids like you doing what you have now done to 2 people. Frooty
  20. i love what derren brown does, always have done. But like most i am slightly disappointed so far, i just can't help thinking that he is making the first few parts just average, and leading up to some really big finale. Still can't wait to get a chance to see him live, his live shows are ace.
  21. didn't work on me, part of me wanted it to. Did anyone else notice the quick flashes while he was talking, that was obviously part of whathe was doing.
  22. But the thing a lot of people are missing is he did the calculations for the final set of numbers, not the team he had working with him. There is nothing to say that there were no calculations involved with the final numbers as he did some alternative trickery to display the numbers he wanted. Chances are all the attempts to get the numbers leading up to the big day were just to add a bit of realism to the situation. He probably had a number of different teams doing the same thing in different rooms, and he used the team that produced the nearest set of numbers to put into the show, just to make it more 'real'. It was like something he did a long time ago where he guaranteed someone would win 7 out of 7 horse racing bets in a row, but when it came down to it he was actually doing the same thing with hundreds of people, and everyone all bet on a different horse, there would always be losers but one person would win all bets (as all bets were covered) and that was the person he used for the TV Show. He basically filtered it down from hundreds down to 1 person. What he does is very clever, some of it is so simple its clever but as a person he is very clever indeed. I dont think we will ever know how he truely did the lottery, but the split screen thing is the most beleivable scenario at the moment. I am hoping (in True Derren Brown Style), that all the 4 events are leading up to 1 big finale. On his shows he always seems to end on a big finale which has been set into motion since the beggining of the show. I love what he does, and his book is a really good read. Can't wait to see the next shows. PS. Watch the advert he did promoting the events, loads of hidden messages in there (on the bus, on the bilboard, numbers on the lamppost ..etc..) Frooty
  23. What the. . . . I'm really looking forward to friday night to see how he did it.
  24. For a 14 year old using an online translator, this kid actually makes more sense than some of the English lads on here. Frooty
