Empty club B. Crap atmoshere C. Alot of people with be tense/in shitty moods from not having a fag and cant be arsed to go outside D. Lighting will be shit E. I was expecting a more argumentative post then that to be honest (argumentative's not the word im looking for, but me and the pants cant think of it) Ahh yes, strobe lights they way it looks like somebody is moving really rigidly in the as said, cloud of smoke, and there are really bright even through a clouds of smoke, soon enough they'll get banned along with lasers and you will only be aloud them style lights that you get from a tempory disco/wedding setups! and how shit will that look! Might aswell go to the off liscence get a few been and whack the speakers up in the living room with a few mates if the clubs are going to turn out like this, the club i go to does have smoke machines, but only two small ones and i think ive only ever seen them being used once when it wasn't heaving with people, so i think massive smoke machines are going to be a deffinate must if the clubs are going to be hoping to keep there massive strobe lights Even if theres just 2 or 3 of you from a group of say 7-10 people you will probaly still feel abit obliged to go and stand outside with the smokers, atleast if your not a smoker and don't particularaly like girls that smoke you can spot the couple of girls that get left inside when there group of friends go out for a puff The smokers can meet the smokers outside and the non smokers can get a dance with the non smokers, it has its up sides and down, eventually i think people will get used to it, but until then there is going to be alot of conntraversy over it. But trials riders do get ridiculed for not having seats, squeky brakes, flat tires etc live with it, it if bothered them so much they would either find somewhere to ride where no one would anything or away from anyone that could say anything, so why can't smokers be ridiculed, smokers are all aware of what there doing to their bodies, and even if they do know its pisses you off when there smoking near you only a few will actually bother to blow the smoke in another direction or hold a fag away from you and then you get the dickheads that know you get pissed off with smoke near you and blow it in your face because its funny, majority of the time thats girls, as you may have guessed by now i am not a smoker. I go to clubs/pubs on friday nights etc, and although tomorow night (or tonight as it may be) will be the first time in a club without all the smoke i must say i am looking foward to coming home not smelling of smoke, although i can see it causing more trouble bettween the rebilious smokers and the non-smokers that will stick up for themselves and actually say to the person there not alloud to smoke in the club, but then there's the BO case that has been mentioned and as your walking through a club you do go past some people and think f**king hell and its actully better to just be somewhere that smells of smoke, although you dont notice it because the whole place is filled then to stand by the person with BO. Also, does the lighting look any shitter, because obviously people have smoke macines to show up lighting better, so either going to need alot more/frequent smoke machine or crap klighting, because obviously lots of clubbers smoking will create a smokey atmosphere and lighting looks cool? The other downside that has been mentioned is most of my mates smoke, so obviosly if four of them want to go out for a fag, and i cant see anyone else i know, im going to have to stnad outside with them, getting cold, missing out on abit of club action just so they can have a smoke when ideally id like to be inside necking a few more kronenburgs and having a laugh. I think the only way this is going to work on the scale there hoping for is lowering the prices on nicotine gum and patches etc but i cant see that happening, well atleast not anytime soon, give it a few months just to see if anything improves, anything gets out of hand.... lots of shit spelling, late, probaly wrote aload of shit, my views Alan, x
