  1. I couldn't stop laughing when I watched it. It's so weird. Admittedly his others are much better.
  2. Just been up at Burycliffe with Robin and co, some challenging and fun section set for tomorrow!
  3. Depends on whether you like a challenge or not! Must remember to swap my Holy Rollers for something a bit grippier before Sunday...
  4. Ha. You'll know what they're like for riding then Have fun!
  5. I don't know, I've not checked yet. Have a look online?
  6. Hmmm... From what I can remember, there's a bit by the library, a bit across the road from Tides (assuming the skatepark next to Tides won't be your bag), a bit round the market square, a bit at the end of the pier and by the timeball tower and a bit by the King's Head/Port Arms, but to be honest, there aren't loads of spots. If you head up the road to Kingsdown, the sea defence rocks there are pretty fun. Dover, Folkestone and Herne Bayaren't far and there's a fair bit to ride in those places. I think they're building new sea defences in Deal too, but no idea what they're like for riding. What have you been doing there, out of interest?
  7. Nice. Doesn't look like the time off has had much effect on your riding! Are you living in Deal now? That's where my parents live - cool to see someone riding the same spots I learned to ride on all those years ago! If you're living there, I'll bring my bike down next time I'm visiting and drop you a line!
  8. We had 50+ at Shipley Glen last month, results sheet attached to give you an idea of numbers in each class. Next one is this Sunday at Burycliffe Quarry - entries are still open at biketrialuk.co.uk/events.htm TT-13-Rnd1 - Shipley Glen.pdf
  9. My entry should be in. Matt Ogley said he was doing his tonight too. Have you had Woody's? I'll give you a bell towards the end of the week, I'm around to help set out on Saturday
  10. Didn't he also study Music Technology? Sounds like the best man to ask
  11. As I mentioned on Sunday, I'm available for whatever help you need on Saturday and Sunday (and beforehand if needed). Really looking forward to riding Burycliffe again - nice to have a few more local trials
  12. Really cool, cheers for posting! Baggiest trousers since Steve Garrett (OD404) rode trials.
  13. Nope. No memberships or licences needed for the nationals, just pay the entry fee and enter in advance To take part in Tyke Trial events, you do need to be a club member. There is a one-off day membership for people who have never competed before, to give them a chance to try competitions out and see if they like it without having to become a full member. This costs £3 and can be paid with the entry fee to your first event. However, should you decide that you do like it and want to take part in subsequent events, you do then have to join the club as a full member.
  14. Did you know he's now in a heavy metal band? On my phone, so can't add an image, but their website is http://www.marseilleonline.co.uk
  15. Snowing like a mother lover in Sheffield at the moment. Taken me as long as it usually takes to get to Loughborough to get 5 miles from my house. Working from home it is then.
  16. Nah, I thought the editing was pretty shit too.
  17. Was it you, or the forum's swear filter that left c**t in and starred out b*****d?
  18. Yes, they are. The winner and one or two randomly selected competitors are tested automatically after the event and there can be random testing in the days leading up to the event as well.
