  1. Funny how America's pretty big on bombing extremist Muslims, yet they've got an even bigger 'extremist' problem on their own hands...
  2. I've seen a fair few, and know someone who had it done. Once the novelty wears off (which it will, pretty quick), you'll get really tired of it. Not to mention tired of the hassle you'll get constantly...
  3. If you tap it to M6 you'd also have to drill your booster out if you're running one. They're less likely to strip once they're M6, but still more likely to strip than a helicoil. Just have a look around local firms, or maybe online for somewhere you could send it to get it done. If you're not 100% about doing it, it might be better getting someone else to do it.
  4. Pretty sure I've seen it in Tesco or Asda round these parts. To be fair to the OTN dudes, there are a lot of dicks on here, but you've just got to look past that to the decent members really. It's exactly the same with OTN, but their dicks tend more to be overly anal Americans...
  5. They're not '09s, so they're over a year old (bearing in mind the '09s came out late '08) - they're made of aluminium so every time they've been stressed it's counted towards them dying. It's not too surprising.
  6. Yeah, I'm running a TNN top cap on my forks now - just used the 'small' sized starnut and hammered it in. The threads are still fine above it too so if I wanted to revert back to my Trialtech top cap I can just knock the star nut down out the way then put that cap in.
  7. Seen a few of their older models crack, although the newer ones haven't really been around long enough to gauge their strength. What Matt said - I still don't really get why people are happy to repeatedly spend loads of money cumulatively on Deng forks when they could just try out the Trialtech forks and have a stronger, better, longer-lasting fork. The initial expense is greater, but they'll outlast Deng forks with no problems. Same here - people keep saying they're badly designed, but I'm running the mod disc hub on the back of my Lynx with no problems at all, and the 135mm TR hub on the back of my Echo. That's still pretty young so it's not really been tested, but yeah, I fail to see how they're badly designed at all. The main reason I got my rear TR disc hub was that the flange is spaced out more from the disc mount, so unlike the Rockman and Try-All hubs you don't have to mess around with your lacing to get it to clear the caliper, you can just lace it up as normal and not have any problems.
  8. Not a great photo, but it's another of Ali brakeless...
  9. I thought he'd sold the company or something like that? Or was that just a rumour?
  10. Good riding, but all I could think seeing that frame was 'What's the point' with that little tube about halfway down the down tube/top tube
  11. My immediate impression is that you're unaware of the existence of the apostrophe, and also can't spell. Was that helpful?
  12. Good to see an orange one built up, looks sweet. Only thing I'd change would be to cut the seat tube itself down a bit, spin the post around and slam the seat a bit more. They just look sorta weird somehow with that much seat tube sticking out, was the same with our grey one.
  13. Fairly 'racing green', if memory serves. V!Z ones are a bit 'dull' compared to the Halo, but are still a pretty deep, metallic racing greeny sorta colour.
  14. True. If you've got to drive anywhere to get to this trials park, then you could just drive a bit further and go to one of the many awesome natural spots around! If it was going to be anything, a more 'street' setup where you can make streety kinda shit you can ride without getting kicked off would make more sense?
  15. Your spelling of shit is shit.

Mine, with TT forks, comes in at 1025mm or so, I think. Maybe a touch less. No it didn't, it came out in November-ish 2008. Same way that stuff released at the end of 2009 is '2010'.
  17. It's stations that have step access. If it's just an escalator, you're not allowed to take your bike. All the TfL mateys who've been on the gates when I've been there have just asked where I was going, then said where I was/wasn't allowed to go. Yeah, that's the only downside - people are f**king stupid. Same on 'real' trains too though.
  18. In my opinion, yeah, just seems like the Monty's a bit more stable, a bit wider, etc. - just everything I'm looking for Not for a while yet. Going to be 19" first I think, primarily 'cos the front one's reasonably light anyway.
  19. Yep, either that or the thumbs up trick to remember which way to turn them. And Ian - that's what I was going to suggest before, but I couldn't think of how to word it. Pyramid system's pretty dece though.
  20. It isn't. For some reason, even though BMXs run high BBs and steeper head angles, 'street' trials frames and 24s seem to go for low BBs and not particularly steep head angles. I think the main reason that, coming from BMX to 24 (although still prefering my BMX, and riding it more), 24s feel weird is that the BBs are so low. They seem to be made to be nice to bunnyhop and manual in a straight line, but that's about it. They're nowhere near as lively and as nimble as BMXs because they seem to be made to be more stable which is - to me - a mistake. If I could raise the BB, steepen the head angle and shorten the stays on my Echo it'd be ideal.
