  1. My CRMs don't "squash" at all? My front brake's totally solid (Y) Are you sure it wasn't just a shit bleed, or needed to be bled again? Koxx Greens worked well with a grind for me, and have had similar results for other people too. They're nearer the Browns in terms of 'hardness', apparently, so maybe they'd be worth a look in.
  2. Right. Over the past few years, several bikes have gone through the Onzaboymark (s)hit parade. How could we forget this? Or maybe even this? As you can see, I'm happy enough to be riding - even in public - on some of the gashest looking bikes ever to roll off the assembly line. However, the stickers on my Zip have taken it one step too far (I love the frame, it's just those damn stickers (Y)). Can anyone suggest any way I can get them off the frame without having to totally strip/spray the bike? They're laquered over, so I'm buggered for getting them off, but would I be able to just strip and respray those individual areas? Thanks for any help, Mark
  3. A-ha, yeah. What he's done in knurled the rim surface. Similar to the above. You can machine the knurling onto it, if you or someone you know is good enough. I don't really know how long they last, although that looks fairly deep/well done, so it might last longer than a grind. Bet it *eats* pads though...
  4. He's signed for Koxx at the moment. He rides the Vinco (awesome style on the shorter Vinco, not such a huge fan on the longer one...) and a Levelboss XTP mod. Rides both amazingly well, although he's out for a month or two with a broken wrist, exacerbated by it not being diagnosed early, and him then filming his latest mod video with a fractured wrist (Y) Big drops/gaps/ups + fractured wrist = hardcore!
  5. Rubbing near the back wheel = put a spacer in between the hub and the dropout, on the right side. Rubbing near the bashplate bit = maybe a longer BB?
  6. Couldn't see what you were talking about on that page? (Y) If you right click on the picture of wherever the rim is, just go Right Click - Properties - then copy the http://www.vtcz.ch/whateveritscalled.jpg part which will come up, and put that in here :)
  7. They aren't, so you're f**ked :) If they did, they'd be well over £600. It's Goldtec they were made by too (also known as Betd though - run by Jason Carpenter too I believe, but I think they focus on different products...).
  8. I wouldn't usually recommend searching for "World of koxx" on Google unless, y'know, you're that way inclined, but fair enough :) Surely the products could be cheaper if they didn't have to keep hiring designers to make logos for their new companies, and having to register them, etc... Just got that vid too. Endured the shit at the start and it turned out to be unicycle trials :) I mean, I can get that it's well hard to do, but it just looks f**king horrible to me...
  9. Those bastards at BT have done it too (Y)
  10. Swish vid (Y) Looked really fluid and smooth, really nice to watch.
  11. Super jerky, and out of sync with the music for me (Y) Doesn't play all the sections correctly either, e.g. at start, you're trackstanding, it freezes, hear the brakes, hear you hopping or something, hear "Ladies and gentlemen, Stan Shaw" or something, then it flashes onto you on top of the thing :)
  12. How come Tart and Select always seem to release vids in the middle of the night? :) DL'ing now (Y)
  13. Also, just found out: Happy Second Birthday my rusty ol' forks (Y) Just found out from the date of a pic I was sending to Paul Oliver...
  14. As a side note: To the bitchers, let's play the "Shut the f**k up" game, therefore meaning I don't have to click the little boxes by all the posts to delete them. On topic - generic shit is generic shit, I guess. Just go for the cheapest if you really want one, otherwise, just get a Team or Control booster (Y)
  15. I guess people were 'impatient' just 'cos MBUK were talking about it going to be released over 6 months ago, so people are kinda wondering why there's suddenly no info or anything about it... Anyway, Halfords usually stock Cassette, but if not I *think* you can get it through www.4130.com. Mark
  16. Just trackstand near to the obstacle you're going to sidehop up, at a slight angle to the wall (not directly parallel). Do a little kick to get yourself on the back wheel. Hop until you're comfortable. Crouch down, leaning yourself back and bringing the pedal back (as though you're about to gap). In one move, throw yourself up whilst pulling the bars to your hips, release the back brake and kick the pedals (as though gapping, kinda), and start pushing the bike towards the obstacle. You've gotta do all that at the same time. Sounds tricky, but it's really not (Y) Make sure you place the bike over the obstacle's edge, just so you don't slip off or anything. Focus on the edge and you'll go to it. Suck the bike up underneath your body like when you do a big bunnyhop, and again, just place it down as much as you can on top of the obstacle. A picture says a thousand words, so this video should say fecking loadas. It's not the world's biggest sidehop, but you can see the technique, basically. http://rapidshare.de/files/5266570/wee_sid...slowmo.wmv.html (Scroll down, click "Free") http://www.eengoedidee.nl/videoz/bike-tria...ehop_slowmo.wmv For Eengoedidee preferers...
  17. You'd have to f**king belt that Specialized FSR to get it into the DVD player though, wouldn't you? If, however, you'd rather just buy the video than a full-sus playbike, go here. EDIT: Jeers to Littleharrys for editing his post so mine makes no sense (Y) Let's just say there was a link involving a Spesh FSR on cyclesurgery.com's site or summat like that...
  18. What've disabled people got to do with Walkers?
  19. THPS2. Do everything. Have a couple of gaps left. Do the gaps. "Congratulations, here is another secret character." "Congratulations, you have completed it with your secret characters. Here are some shite cheats."
  20. Er, it's free ('cept for the price of a text)? Maybe that's why (Y)
  21. 2nd place, riding a boulder?!
  22. There used to be a Koxx-St.com website, initially. They had frames like the Choco, Milk, etc. Vincent Hermance and TRA were formerly on the team, but I think it was sorta joined with the normal koxx stuff and made into the "K.U.L.T." thing on their site.
  23. (Y)--> QUOTE(joe b @ Sep 18 2005, 10:06 PM) ← Theyre just Zoo pythons mate, but with a different back end. The decals are shit aswell. Cheers, Joe. Geometry's different too...
  24. Just imagine an amalgam of those two (Y) Mostly did filming last night, so not many pics. Was gonna try and do some cool stuff but it mostly ended up with us just arsing around 'n' stuff. And Matt wanted to go get liquored up.
