    CLS: 28, 25, 23 Tunni: 26, 24 Yao Zhi: 27, 22 Those are the ones I know, anyway.
  2. That particular one was blatantly sped up. Just look at the birds in the background: They're obviously moving faster than normal! Would suck tats if that cord broke though. Danger!
  3. Like Andyroo said, it could just be crap between the seal and piston? Try lubing the lever pivot too, if you can. If it's not leaking though, it shouldn't be too major a problem
  4. Is it actually leaking, or do you just mean that it makes a noise?
  5. If you like a bit of flex, you might as well go for the RB Designs booster then. Mine flexed a bit. Nothing hugely noticeable, but I prefer my brake to feel stiffer  Just bleed it badly if you want lever-squidge :P
  6. RB = Flex. Not so good. Not heard particularly great stuff about the Onza/Brisa/Viz booster. The original Echo ones seemed to work OK, but if they were that good they wouldn't have made the Control  I'm running a Team on my Zip, and it's working really well, just on the top 2 bolts of the 4-bolt mounts...

Just before it hit they downgraded it to 2, then down to 1 when it was there, it seems :P Either way, I think they 'bigged it up' just to get people to get there shit together and move out, maybe?

Katrina was only a Class 4, and they downgraded Rita to a Class 1. If Katrina hadn't f**ked New Orleans, I doubt they'd have gone to half the trouble over Hurricane Rita. If they hadn't pulled out all the stops, the public would've raped George Bush. And you don't wanna be publicly raped
  9. Tartybikes have the FSA Platinum Pro DH ISIS BB in stock, in 73x128mm. Go there now
  10. They don't have much in the way of space at Cycle '05 for the trials arena though, so it'd dilute it too much having the "larger" sections (they are going to be well hard, in that they have invited some of the best riders in the UK/Europe/World) and then the "smaller" sections for you guys to demo on? There just wouldn't be enough room...
  11. Might wanna make that a Team, as the Control is a *bitch* to fit around mod tyres. OR wait for the Heatsink mod booster?
  12. Yes, but "your eyes" aren't the "eyes" of a potential sponsor outside of the trials arena who has no idea what trials is. I'm not saying she's shit either, because most people can't do the sort of stuff on a bike we do, so she's obviously got skill, it's just that she isn't as good as some other people, who would garner more coverage for sponsors. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying she can't be good or anything like that, it's just that there are better people out there, and rather than constantly trying to get sponsorship (her Dad's the owner of the importers of Monty in Sweden or something, so I doubt bikes/parts are going to be much hassle anyway? when most people here have to pay for their bike, parts and repairs AS WELL as clothing and stuff anyway?) she'd be better off just riding, going out, getting better "quietly" (as in not putting loads of videos out), then coming back with a bang with a new video with better riding in it. That's pretty much all I meant. Riding isn't just for the money, is it.
  13. Tried finding the video, couldn't. Saw the previous one called "Monty_Susanne" or something like that, and it didn't impress me much, really. Again, you seem to be missing my point just to kinda be all friendly with her. She isn't as good as, say, a lot of riders from around the world. A lot of the videos in the Sites, Vids & Pics show riding of a better quality, with better editing. Alright, she might be 'good for a girl' or whatever, but again - and this is the point I'm making - to someone not in trials, someone doing smaller ups and smaller drops and smaller gaps ISN'T as impressive as someone doing biggers up, bigger drops and bigger gaps, as well as other "streetier" stuff like wallrides, manuals and so on. This is undeniable. Sponsors are looking for maximum publicity, and bigger moves. If they aren't part of the trials world, they're probably going to bracket it in the "Extreme sports" culture and have images of X-Games and shit like that, therefore they'll be expecting more. Just wait. Get better, ride better, and just...y'know, ride, and not worry so much about sponsorship. There are countless amazing riders I know of who don't have a single sponsor, yet carry on because they love riding. That's the whole point, after all, isn't it.
  14. I love my Zip :) It's the best frame I've ever used. It just feels pretty much spot on for everything. I went frm a T-Pro to the Zip, and it's a really positive change. It's 10x better at least at everything ot front, sidehops way better 'cos it's got loads more standover height, the higher BB makes it ride super well for almost everything else too, the 2" longer front end makes it more stable on the back wheel, it's amazing for manuals (Weirdly), really good for spins - got a 360 bunnyhop on it to give you an idea  - and it's just a great frame. I'd really, really recommend it :P
  15. Try and get consistently high comp results, either at a national or international level. Try and really get properly good at street too. Companies who don't know trials aren't going to sponsor someone who doesn't do big moves, generate lots of attention, or win lots of comps, as they won't think they'll get enough publicity from you, so even though you are a girl it still won't be enough.
  16. My Blues were about 5mm deep. After a ride in Aberystwyth (about 3 1/2 hours riding, tops) they're now half that thickness. They work really well, as long as it's not wet or you've got dusty crap on your rims, but just don't last long enough for me. Back to the Koxx Greens...
  17. You get what you pay for. There's more going into the GU in terms of materials, manufacturing techniques, etc. Same way the XTP costs more than the Levelboss.
  18. unless you get the whole frame heat-treated, it'll crack fairly quickly again anyway. Plus, it'll be transfering the stress to some other part of the frame anyway, so it won't really solve the problem. Just having it welded and heat-treated would work as a temporary solution, but you should probably try and start saving for a new frame. And a booster.

In that they have a "hurricane season" every year, you'd have thought they'd have got their shit together so they were better prepared for when they hit, wouldn't you?
  20. Well held there Mr. Nick :) Almost as dramatic as my Dad's save in his Mitsubishi pick-up, coming out of a roundabout at about 40 or so, back end hit a patch of standing water and started coming round. Lots of other traffic around, could've been sketch, but he got it back. Full vid should be cool :)

  22. My Dad got done for speeding on his road bike going down that hill :P
  23. So appreciative you couldn't even be bothered to spell "thanks" right, when someone went to the trouble of helping you out?
