That does seem to be the main problem. People seem to just call all asylum seekers/immigrants "Illegal Immigrants", and assume they're all as bad as each other. Ignorance is bliss though I suppose, so maybe we should envy all the people who think like that <_<

There are a bunch of immigrants from Poland around here who are the main problem. They come round trying to sell 'artwork' they've painted, but are trying to scope places out. They went to this one woman's house near here who lives more on the outskirts in a house on here own, and the Polish people drove up to the end of her drive (about 200m from here house), and the one woman got out and walked up to the door, knocked, said about how she was trying to sell her paintings (they get you to read this little card, 'cos apparently their english isn't that great), and the woman said no, and tried shutting the door, but the Polish girl tried forcing her way in <_< Another example just up the road from here was a similar story, but it was a Polish guy who tried forcing his way into a woman's house. Unfortunately for him, her husband (a burly as f**k rugby player) was in, and went up to the guy, physically picked him up and threw him out the door. Weird...

True enough. My Dad worked as a training officer for the Iraqi police force (nice and worrying, hearing on the news that "Police forces in Basra have been attacked and many left dead" <_<), and he said that the overwhelming majority ARE happier now Saddam's out. Some of the country's infrastructure is still f**ked, but it's got to be better than being completely oppressed like they were... Oh, and I guess this time it's slightly different in that in WWII for example, there was a danger of us getting f**ked over by Hitler, and we were all being bombed 'n' shit, whereas now people perceive there to be little threat because the terrorists/enemies aren't all flying over in Stukas dive-bombing London 'n' shit... I may have worded it incorrectly from the article I read. I wasn't particularly concentrating on the exact wording of my sentence, so sorry about that... Anyhoo, all I was pointing out was that these "Asylum seekers" who loads of people on here "take all the money out of the country" and f**k us all over 'cos they're taking loads of money out of the tax system are basically wrong, in that they repay all the money they're taking out of the system and add another £2.5billion to it? Meh...

I'm running 2.2Mbps broadband. That video's downloading at 2.85kb/sec. Please, for the love of the children, put it on that tv.isg.whateveritis site...

Well done in that Nokia comp :ermm: Hadn't even heard of it before. Altogether, the site looks a bit...sorta...amateur? Like not very slick or anything. The "colourful" left menu setup paired with a BOW main bit just looks a bit... I dunno, it just doesn't go. Boring Times New Roman text and stuff like that on the main menu bit, plus a fairly 'cluttered' looking site altogether just doesn't really do it for me much \ Pics, vids and other shits all good though <_<

Well, seems like N. and S. Korea are the main people with nuclear arms, and they're hardly going to ship us over there to fight 'em. Oh yeah, to the "Immigration is shit" people: Fun fact for you. "Asylum seekers sponge off the government and us all our taxes" etc. is heard quite a lot, but Did You Know™: Asylum seekers and immigrants put £2.5billion more back into the government/tax system than they take out in the form of benefits? That's right - they repay all that they take out, and put another £2.5billion in. So, er, f**k your arguements?

Confused me at first too, but what he means is how to modify (hence mod) a shifter to fit on the downtube of a stock, if I've read it right. Anyway, you can put a mech on a mod, and have a multi-geared freewheel. Pashley made a 2-speed freewheel ages ago, and Eno have just made a better one now. That, coupled with a DMR horizontal drop-out mech hanger, and a shifter of your choice would mean you *could* put gears on a mod, although it'd be shite/get in the way.
-
If you mean the extractor tabs on the Eno, no. In that that freewheel costs £83.99 new or something like that (dunno, I got mine somewhere cheap <_<), I'd rather not make it so to take it off I have to remove the driveshell and f**k the body of it up. Also, I'd save just under 1mm of material (the tabs are only 1mm long, with a 16mm wide body as opposed to the ACS's 2mm tabs/15mm body, so there's not much saving anyway), which isn't really the 4mm I need... If you were talking about slimming down the BB though, I may have to do that a bit \

73, not least 'cos the T-Lite's 73mil, ain't it? Either way, more options for selling it on/putting it in a new frame?

Magura HS33 - solid, reliable, nice lever feel when you bleed with water. Plazmatic CRM pads - grippy as hell, nice modulation, work pretty well in the wet too. Light grind - helps with wet weather riding, and for a bit more lock. Perfect.

In a driving lesson, my shoe got snagged somewhere on the accelerator, and kinda meant I couldn't brake coming up to a major junction. Three cheers for dual control cars <_<

Erm, second hand, with the 175mm Tensiles you'd have bought from Travistrials like 6 months ago? :"> I honestly don't know, to be honest. Are they out of stock with CRC or something? Tried bikedock? Either that, or go to Truvativ's site and check their UK distros?

*gets to Aber, phones Tom* Me: Hey Tom, how's it going? Tom: Not too bad, ta. What're you up to? Me: Just riding in Aber. You still up for riding? Tom: Er... I can't today, sorry. Me: Really? What's up? Tom: I'm out kiting in Borth with my friends on the beach. *gets to Aber, phones Steve Saville, gets to answerphone* Me: Hey Steve, you still up for riding? *hour later* *phones again* Me: Hey Steve, you still up for riding? Steve: Hey mate, sorry I'm so late, my friend got washed out to sea, we had to try and get the lifeboat people to help get him back in. I *rule* at doing grouprides in Aber. The last group ride I did there that everyone turned up to was June 22nd ('cos it was the Corris national day after), 2001. That's right, folks, 2001...

Truvativ Gigapipe DH, 73x127.5 (or 128mm, whatever Fagativ (I'm a comedy genius) decided to go for), with the 73->68 spacer in.

I'll try and do a little vid tomorrow morning for you <_<

Hahaha :( I can't believe you didn't manage to find the f**king harbour (if you found the castle, you were like 200m from there, it was the place with the boats :S), and therefore missed out on a LOAD of natural I know you'd have loved riding... *sigh* the Onzaboymark Premiere may indeed have some footage from there <_<
-
I've already told you on MSN, but f**k me, that was one awesome vid <_< Really enjoyed watching it, just made me wanna go out and ride. Made trials look good, unlike loads of other videos made recently. It just 'felt' really happy, like a really fun group ride or something... Weird, but there we go. Awesome video, you dark horse

Shit <_<\ I can't remember how much clearance I had with my FSA... I know with my Gigapipe I've got approx. FA with Tensiles + an Eno, but I want to put my Echo bash on, so I was gonna get an FSA. Hell, I need a new BB anyway so it's not so bad, but still, I'm not 100% sure my bash'll fit w/Eno, as I need another 4mm clearance from somewhere
-
Yeah, but it's gonna be limiting him to some extent? From the pics from that MBUK shoot in Marseille he can go ridiculously big, so if he was on a more "trialsy" frame as opposed to a dirt/street compromise like that, maybe he'd go ridiculously big^2? :(

Howsabouts how they've upgraded the XTR hubs so now, the splined disc fitting for this year's hub doesn't fit last years, so you have to buy all new discs 'n' shit too? They're The Best! EDIT: Question: Couldn't you get a nut that fitted that end bit of the thread there, which would therefore tighten your wheel on, and then just run a mech from your mech hanger on your frame?
-
Not very good geometry? MAkes it a lot harder to ride? It'd be way better to have a good, well designed frame with cheaper parts than having to upgrade the frame :P\

Or "War on Terrrrrrrr" as Georgey Dub-yah calls it. Anyway, sucks it happened. Found out on the radio in the bikeshop, didn't understand what the crap they were saying. Thought they meant a plane had dropped some bombs on Pentagon from the news stuff that was feeding through. Go analytical news. On the plus side, it had more video footage for BBC News 24 to repeat constantly all day than the London bombing. The amount of times I saw those same 4 clips on the news the day the London bombing happened was ridiculous. Can't understand how you'd be able to do what the hi-jackers did though. Must've been terrible being on the planes. People always seem to forget that those people on those planes must've known they were going to die like that, instead remembering all the amateur sky-divers.
