Do you/they wear gloves?
-
Supercycles do 'em too, in fact, I have an un-used pair in a bag behind me. Ad Read said they were a little on the hard side of steely. Again, Renthals :-
-
My T-Pro's only approx. 5mm longer than a Monty. Approx. 990mm-ish wheelbase. Having ridden the T-Lite Long, which is super close to the 221 geometry, slightly longer stays feel a bit nicer for manualling and bunnyhopping, as there's a bit more leeway for getting the angle right (think: BMXs have fairly long stays :-).

Ruffians = 3 weeks then down to the plastic. Best £15 ever. Renthal ATV grips. Medium compound (last for forever in soft, pretty much, but just to be sure :-). Full diamond compound. £6.99 (or maybe £7.99?), Off Road Only, or most Renthal distro's. CoustUK might do it, but I've never dealt with them so who knows. They're really good though. A teensy bit thicker than Monty foams when they're new (the foam that is (Y)). I wear through grips in the time it takes to put these on, and these have only just started wearing after 5-6 months. Definitely consider 'em though.

Any bike sub like 1030 is 'short' and 'flickable' and 'bunnyhopable' depending on setup? With T-Master stem and CF risers, my bikes really nice to bunnyhop (got the 50" wall). With the Zoo! stem, it felt like utter shit. It's just down to setup, and for the riding, mindset.

The Yaabaa 20"er is the same as the Trick, or the Djinn. One or the other. Either way, ain't no Levelboss...
-
Don't really get why they'd be riding a Monty? I don't :-
-
It depends if you mean bunnyhop/manually/spinny street. Not *many* people use Pythons for that, typically they just do natural in a street way, if you get me. I always found my T-Pro with a short 'n' high setup felt like sex on a stick for hops to manuals, manuals in general, etc.

How so? See also: Steve-A's mod videos.

That doesn't make much sense  Anyway, that's the only way. Just make sure you're getting the screwdriver blade underneath the cup and not into the blowholes on the frame or anything. Either way, it's just about force, and you proving to the headset you're man enough to remove it. You ARE putting the screwdriver in through the head tube, aren't you? Not trying ot hit the cups off from the outside?

I really wanted to get a motorbike too, but then I realised that for 99% of my journeys, it'd be useless. I play bass in a couple of bands, so I'd need to be able to haul round a 4x10 cab, a 350W amp head, 2 basses and all the excess shit like that, and I'd be driving places to ride, pick up shopping, etc. Cars just work out better for me, which is why I'm currently learning now. I'm just hoping to get a bike when I'm older, which also means the insurance should be a little more forgiving

A brand spankin' new T-Pro would be £80 from Onza because of their 2-year crash replacement scheme. 0115 941 11 33. I actually had to think to remember that number. I'm slipping  Oh, and just for the rest of you: crappy injokes that no-one else will get are crap, and make you look like tools. Keep it to MSN or...well...yourselves?
-
Hehe, fair enough. Either way, gears are irrelevant to insurance grouping, pretty much. It's the engine size that's important. For example, you might have a 980cc car with a 5-speed box. That might do, say, 30mph in 2nd. You have a 2l sports car or something. That might do 70mph in 2nd. Engine capacity is the important thing. That Aprilia's only a 50, so it's unlikely to break any land speed records

You seem to have missed my point. You can tell what a "good" video is from the finished product. I don't know how to use Adobe Premier, but I could still point out a shit video and give constructive criticism. Because he hasn't made a trillion videos doesn't mean he doesn't know what a "good" video should be like. Equally, what if, say, he HAD made some videos, but just hadn't put them up on here? I know I have? You go to a restaurant, you order a fancy-ass meal. You have some. It's got too much salt in it. You can still say "This has too much salt in it" without knowing the exact ingredients or way to make it, it's just personal opinion.

I love cats too, we've had them all my life, I really like them. I still laughed? When I see someone trip over, I don't think "f**k me, I'm a human as well. That can't be funny!" It didn't look like it shattered it's skull or anything like that, so I'm guessing it's fine, it just made a tit of itself.
-
No? There was another manufacturer who made a similar bike with a 7-speed box. That's kinda irrelevant to insurance grouping, in the same way it is on cars really. Carole Nash gave my Mum the best quote. If you wanted a 'bigger' bike or a more sound investment for the future, you *could* get, say, a 600 then have it restricted to 33Bhp for the mandatory time period, then have it derestricted, thus meaning you don't have to buy a new bike once you're allowed to go nuts on it?

To do that, part of the immovable object would have to move.
-
*sigh* Think about what I said. An unstoppable force. That means it can't be stopped. Therefore, it wouldn't be slowed down by anything. An immovable object. That means it can't be moved. Therefore, it won't move

Jonny, you can go to a cinema and say a film's shit without having directed a Hollywood block buster.

I went totally deaf in my right ear at one point, but it was just a build up of crap and wax and stuff in my ear. Had them 'syringed' (no syringe involved, but there used to be) and it made my hearing waaaaaaay good. It makes a huge difference, maybe worth thinking about having? Even though I nearly crapped my pants riding away from the doctors 'cos my CRM's on the front sounded a trillion times louder... If the music is loud, you're still screwed. Loud noise of any kind is bad, so if it's loud it'll damage it anyway. I prefer the larger ones just as a personal preference thing, but I'd imagine they're pretty much on a par with the in-ear ones.
-
Speaking as someone who has tinnitus, it still sucks balls to have it, so it'd be 10x better not to have to hear "eeeeeeeeee" constantly since you were 2 or 3. It's not fun. Equally, you lose the range of hearing you "could" have had, and you also lose clarity of sound, so it's best not to get yourself into that situation anyway...
-
Damage to your ears is cumulative. Every time you get ringing in your ears after listening to music, you've slightly lowered the range you can hear, as the sensitive 'hairs' in your ears get broken. They never grow back. It's not exactly great for you, especially as with headphones the sound is delivered directly to your ear. Why listen to it so loud anyway?
-
Er, have you missed the point of filming or something?
-
Having a bit of a longer trailer so you get more of an idea for the 'feel' of the DVD/video and just a better idea of the sort of riding would be cool, but I guess 'cos of the crash you were largely screwed. Sorry to hear about all that shit, sounds pretty nasty. Good riding, what little of it there was anyway.
