A rear disk will die doing sidehops no more than a rear mech would... so whats the problem? :shifty:

What do you guys with rear disks find the bite and hold to be like compared to a magura? I'm currently running koxx browns on a grind, and it works very well, but i would like it to keep working well in all conditions. If a disk could give me just as good bite and hold as my current set-up, i would be extremely happy. (Y) Terry said something about another day at the warehouse, so if anyone is there with a rear disk, expect me to be asking to try it :(

I just ride locally really, because i dont like it when you go a distance to ride, get there, and find you can't see :)

At the hampshire comp today, i noticed more people seem to be using a dual disk set-up. I have just got a hope mono trial on the front, and i would now really like to try one on the rear. It would be going on a toxsin frame. What are you oppinions? will it just snap? or will it last 6 months then snap? worth a try? Cheers, Alex.

I'm so glad i only needed to go on the rear wheel twice... Motorbike grips on both sides... bald tires... bike that i have never ridden before... All made for an excelent comp i rekon :)

What about if you look at the geometric diagrams?? looks can be decieving...

I saw it the other night, thought it was pretty good, i havent seen the first one, but i dont think you really need to. It basically tells you what happened in the first one at the end of this one. It does keep you thinking, trying to piece it all together, but at the end it all makes sense... I'll deffinatly be going to see saw 3, i assume by the end that they will be making a third. (Y)

What if i get clever with the enlarger, and i print, for example, 6 shots on one piece of paper. Is that aloud?

Might be time again to dust of ye ol' enlarger and bring out the real camera ;) I'm up for that. Are these photo's going to be trials related? or just photo's? ohhh.... the ideas are flying around my head already :P

But if you are raising the bars aswell as the bb, the reach will stay the same? ;)

I have built my last few wheels myself, I have found that spending a few £ on spokes and a little time building gives me enough extra cash in my wallet not to worry when it buckles B) I'm not the best at building wheels, my builds hold upto most of the abuse that i put them through though, and i'm getting better with each wheel i build, so hopefully, as my riding progresses, so will my wheels (Y)

I could try some for you. I dont no what you mean by "good" riders, but i will be having to get a new rim in the next couple of weeks, so if i have got some good pads to use, then i'll hold back on grinding it :lol: I will be running an onza rim (26" if that makes a difference)

your getting a new frame, good, well done... you have got monty brake spray, why waste the money?? your friend is getting a new bike, good, well done to him too :lol:
