Painting Moose-iow's (phils) Frame

Finished Product...............

Okay then we're painting Phils frame today so thought we would put up some progress pics along the way.

First we sanded the forks

Then we Primed them

Then we sprayed them

Then we added the finishing touches

Next the Frame.............

First Phil sanded it

Then we primed it

and now we're here.......................

Should of gone with white highlights, nice idea though.

But you didn't mask off the bottom bracket? Good luck getting the bottom bracket back in there with layers of paint over the threads. ;)

grease on the threads ;)

just wiped it off and perfectly clean threads

Oh and we put pink on the front hole of the forks and will put brown on the back.

No offence it does look different and all but personally i think it looked way better before the respray. The pink bits just look a bit tacky especially considering how nice the overal finish of the black was before the pink was added, obviously every man to his own.

I would also like to note my bike is also a pinkish/purple colour so im actually being a bit of a hypocrit :P

Anyways nice idea which im sure looks better in the flesh :D
