Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 (edited) dave, the idea is that the stopping power may not be better than a grind at all, but this thing will last for much longer, ( if you cnc'd it it would last the lifetime of the rim.) so instead of having to grind your rim once a month, you can sacrifice some braking power and not have to do it for a year or more.
