Hi All,

Well I've been lurking here for a couple of years and enjoying the read. I'm a moto rider from the Shropshire area (Oswestry) who'd love to have another go at this game, but my recent attempts have left me thinking maybe I should leave it to my son, who's also a moto rider, but does have a bit of a thing for the bike trials.

I still manage to get round the expert route at moto, so thought I'd easily convert back to cycle trials after my youth days on various home made converted BMX/mountain bikes etc.

My attempts on a 20" were ridiculous at 6'3" and 120Kg, so I thought maybe a 26" was the answer. That didn't go much better, so it may well be that I stick to moto and continue as mechanic and minder for my lad at the cycle trials, but you never know, time will tell.

Anyway, the reason for my recent increased interest is a new build - Bionic B2, Tryall hubs/rims, Worldcat ISIS cranks, ZHI greeneye freewheel, ZHI stem, VIZ bars and headset, hope front disc brake, and for now I've pinched a set of HS33's for the rear off a previous Monty - all seems to be going together quite nicely, and as I mentioned elsewhere I'll get some photos done next week when the wheels are built.

I know a few names round here, and no doubt some of you are Moto and know me from there. Hopefully we'll get round a few more bike trials next year and we'll get to meet some more of you.

I proudly introduce myself, ha. I'm from switzerland, actually from Berne, 23 years young. I join a small trialscene here – in general trials is unknown. I rode a univega 24" then I switched to a the 24" inspired 4play – was hard to get one in switzerland. however I'm very impressed of the quality and and style of uk-riders. But I guess the trialsmania in UK started up five-teen years ago, am I wrong?

Anyway I'll soon upload some pics of us. Maybe we'll come over one day to UK. Or at least invite some of you buddies to ride in berne together.

I would love you ride with you . There are about 7-8 of us round our area, feel free to come down Parkwood some time, there is bound to be some BMX's there and more then likely trials.

If you ask the BMX'ers about the trials'ers, they will probably tell you where we are, i think all of them used to ride trials anyway . They wont bite .

I'm not really new to T-F but it was a long time when i signed up and stopped riding for a while but now I'm back and riding again.

I have two bike a Diamondback MOD but only as back up ha ha and an Echo ES3 OLD SCHOOl ha ha.

Just getting back into trials at the age of 19, after a 2 year layoff from the sport, due to the wonderful temptation that is bmx street

Currently having to ressurect my bike, because i snapped my faithful mission after a week of riding again.

I ride in the plymouth area with very rare forays into the wider world like dartmoor

other interests are

climbing, motorsport (almost anykind but i love trail ridng on my honda), bmx still, i do a fair bit of jogging as well.

I'm Ben I'm 20 I've been riding trials for a few years now. I've always ridden stock though I would love to have a 24 to trow around. I mainly ride around the Oxford or Loughborough area as I am studying Materials engineering at Loughborough University. my favorite places to ride are stoke and bristol.

I would rather go on a small ride with friends than a big group ride. I feel I should say I do have problems with grammar and spelling as I am dyslexic but I will use spell checks and try my best to not let this be a problem.
