Can You Have A Pet Monkey?

Yea right. Monkeys are amazing anyway, Imagine having a little monkey buttler with a top hat and buttlers clothes. It would be amazing, far better to take for walks than a boring dog. Shame they stink so much, and yes, they are illigal in england >_<

Sometimes I wonder why there's a chit chat section at all.

If I owned this forum, I would have all the sections except Chit-Chat. Want to talk about something else? Go to another forum, this would keep the trials forum a trials forum. I'm pretty sure there more people talking in Chit Chat than the actual Trials Chat.

one.

Good job you dont then

my great uncle has a pet monkey called baboo but that's not in the UK , he found it as a baby in the forest and had ever since.

you can have a monkey in the UK you just need to get a dangerous wild animal license from the council but its not easy to get one they have to check its enclouser and you have to pay for it.

some people keep venomous snakes and alligators and stuff like that.

Sam, owning a monkey is far too much effort and trouble and money than most people can be bothered to expend, perhaps you should stick to laughing at them when they have sex and piss in their own mouths like the rest of us.

Is that where I am meant to be pissing, I usually use the bog or a wall or something.

I don't think this thread was a waste of time, I think it's great, from now on I am going to look out for all of Pashley26 posts to see if I can catch another tantrum.

There may be no specialist's on monkey law in here but it is more than possible that there could be a pet monkey owner (if it is legal), a zoo keeper, a lawyer/solicitor (who's dealt with something similar before) or even someone who works for animal welfare on here. so why the flaming, if you don't know the answer can't you just assume that the person with the question does know how to google something and leave the topic? It's not that hard.

When I first joined here, this forum was a laugh. Now it's like a joke gone to far. You wouldn't flame someone for every silly question they asked to their face because you'd be perceived as an ingnorant wanker so why do it on here?

Your quite right, but if one of my mates suggested getting a pet monkey, Id laugh profusely, make a crack about him smoking too much crack, and then go back to laughing profusely, before realising he was deadly serious, and probably start looking for lobster/monkey costumes to pass the time.

Is this pet monkey thing in any way related to the senior mods avatards?

Edit: Ie just read that I put avatards, rather than avatars, I could correct it, but it seems like quite a funny new word Ive created, so its staying.

To be fair aswell, before people start giving me shit.....

I was the first person to give both a factual and simple answer. ;)

As with all questions like this I think it's a case of if you have to ask something like this on a bike forum, you simply don't know enough and you couldn't possibily look after it properly.

Do some research - although I'd be suprised if anyone sold you one without a little Q&A first hand, they do it with fish afterall....
