I always buy 2 bags of apples when i pop to Stainsburys and Have recently been into buying smoked mackrel.

Can't say I've noticed any difference, but then I've never dipped below a level of fruit/veg to make a difference.

Frozen packs of mixed veg are awesome, just whack in microwave and you don't have to chop anything etc (Y)

does juice that you dilute count as water? or do i have to go the whole hog and drink actual water

That stuff tends to be very sugary. I'd drink a mix of real fruit juice and water (not together, i mean throughout the day)

I spent ages doing a 9 mile ride every night and drinking loads of water at work, home and eating loads of fruit. I felt miles better, never seemed tired when i used to, and it got rid of a lot of shit in me. Got a real bad cold when all the crap was coming out too. Definitely felt thte difference.

My diet consists of chocolate, crisps and microwave meals. I do like fruit but never have any in the house so twix etc will do the job. I find that as a general rule I am as fit and heathy etc as the people who eat healthy foods. I fairly much never drink water and yet I feel perfectly fine.

You are now, but when you're old you'll have a vitamin deficiency and you'll shit your bowels out.

eating fruit stops you from getting scurvy doesn't it?

I have stopped eating fruit for a bit. I try to eat apples when I can though but i really do like my veg. Raw carrots are my favourite, i hate it when my mum cooks them :(

WOOOO a topic i know something about. I'm at college becoming a paramedic but i also have to do nutrition. Yes eating fruit and veg helps alot its very good for your skin helps keep menalin levels good. Fruit and veg help strenghtan your immune system meaning you don't get as ill it mostly sitrus fruit gives you vitamin c witch is good for the oxygen in your blood i think. plus because your body doesn't use it it makes u pee more. veg is good like cabbage and stuff they contain nutrients and stratch. just don't over boil them other wise you kill the goodness.

P.s Having cordial and stuff still has to much sugar in it just stay with water. (Y)
