Snee Posted March 26, 2007 Report Share Posted March 26, 2007 My first car was a rover 214 and Ive still got it. Ive had it over a year now and had no problems at all. Rovers are much cheaper to insure than cars such as polo's and clio's. It was £1000 cheaper to insure my 1.4i rover that it would have been to insure a 1.2 polo. CurtisRider Posted March 26, 2007 Report Share Posted March 26, 2007 had a '94 vauxhall cavalier 1.7td off my parents for a month, all standard alloys and stuff, just a new headunit, comps and sub, was ok, very sluggish but i had lots of fun in it!then got a '00 seat toledo 1.9tdi 110 se, alpine headunit, amp and jl audio sub (yet to fit my alpine comps), also fitted a K&N air filter and have some leon wheels on their way to replace the not so cool alloys that come as standard planning to upgrade to a proper HID light system (not the crappy HIDalike bulbs i have currently) and get it remapped after summer if i can find a spare 400quid next car is either a leon or an a3/a4, diesal of course Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bill_B Posted March 26, 2007 Report Share Posted March 26, 2007 (edited) My first car was a '86 Mk4 Escort, the 1.4 which after a snapped cambelt had a few mild engine tweeks and was great fun.That was followed by a pug306 DTurbo, Hybrid turbo, cams and a modified fuel pump made that fly too Got a very Dull Honda Accord Coupe now (with a silly expensive ICE setup) which shall shortly be changed for something cheap and less practical (probably a CRX as the Mrs wants one).
