I would in no way call myself a pure comp rider but I do ride comps and have done for many years. I've seen the peaks and troughs, people come and go but right now the scene, at least in Scotland is growing. We've just had a double header this weekend and had around 30 riders on a freezing cold and wet couple of days. Its all down to one man as well. David Johnstone. Yea, there is less choice bike wise but just look at the Clean and Crewkerz. Why would you want anything else? They're the sharpest tools for the job! Can they handle overhang hooks, yes, they'll do... Again, why would you want anything other than an Inspired for riding street unless you're a, "use the wrong tool for the job" kinda guy. Its taken many years to boil down but I think finally we have reached the plumb sauce.  Ohh shiiiit, did you miss the whole retro revival thing through COVID? Hilarious! People who once had zero interest, suddenly had Ibiza holiday money to spend on every DCD, Fatty or Pashley fork, IRC El whatever or Azonic product they never knew they wanted.
