  1. Yep - that's fine. I'll be convoying with Ben, Josh, Tom Booth and Krisboats. Dan Brady: I'm bringing a helmet for you, courtesy of Phatmike. See you there.
  2. Or if you'd rather spend more money than sand some away - try and get hold of some Tensile Offset Mounts. Edit: Dick.... I looked in this topic 'cause it said "vees." Haha. My bad.
  3. Super cool idea - but it looks unbalanced. Would look better with both the same.
  4. Golly. Struggle to get it much lower down... Many people gonna have issues with the chain on seat-stays? Not sure why they'd run anything other than 18:12/13, but it's DAMNED close.
  5. Cripes. That top one's expensive... Heh. If it was meant how I get the impression it was meant, I don't agree with Mr Hynes - but I WOULD be interested to see how much it would ruin your riding to ride a ~9kg bike.
  6. Crikey. Now THAT is something to wake up to. Have a feeling I'm about to have a pretty good day. Excellent video - please, feel free to make more
  7. Yeah mang. Me, Ben, and possibly Josh.
  8. Well - I have to say - it was pretty novel to watch Damon Watson without having to listen to absolutely gash music. Nice stack, too
  9. There's a download link, RIGHT next to the youtube link.
  10. I didn't notice this until showing it to a friend.
  11. What the f**k just happened on those bollards?
  12. Horizontals really aren't difficult once you've set them up a couple of times. The only drawback I can think of is when you have one of those frames where, when your chain stretches a bit you have to run a half link 'cause someone designed/fabricated it badly. There's quite a few problems with verticals, on the other hand. Seriously. All you have to do is work out a system for doing it. Get a Continental tire. After riding for a week, you'll know how to work 'em
  13. These topics start wars. Let it be settled by saying it's your choice. Maggies tend to be more on/off, whereas Vees can modulate. Maggies are usually snappier, where Vees can have more power. (Edit: By "power", I mean hold.) It's all about what you want (which depends upon your style of riding), and how you set it up.
  14. "Steed" is the official word of the day.
  15. I'm afraid that's just plain incorrect. School yourself, boy.
  16. Swish. Don't like those forks though Snap happy to the max.
  17. Crikey. Saw you guys up at Shipley a while back, and thought to myself that Stan really didn't suit brakeless. I guess he must have been on an off-day, 'cause that was f**king mint. Nice one Watching you guys it seems that rocks are more fun brakeless than street - which is all I've really tried so far.
  18. Oh LAWD. What is that music?! Please!
  19. At One Last Night by The Flashbulb. Off the Kirlian Selections album. Really and incredible music producer - but be warned... Little of it is like this. Usually rather more abrasive
  20. From a purely aesthetical point of view - the 320. Nicest looking mod of all at the moment, in my opinion. And you get disk + magura, just incase you change your mind later on.

    Long To Short

Don't get a new frame. You'll adjust. I tend to find shorter wheelbases more fun than long. Seems a bit less.... formal - riding style is more open to your own interpretation. Long bikes seem more purely "trials"-orientated - and not just in that it makes it easier. Don't knock the dual disk thing either - I'd love to go dual disk, but don't have the hub OR frame for it Just... set them up better
  22. Yep, and yep for Josh, too.
  23. Also - whoever's it is - watch out for those forks with that disc. I ran the same and they snapped after about 2 months. Went at the magura mounts. Just so you know
