  1. Looking for a particular track. I can only remember one particular bit, which could be an intro but I'm pretty sure it's a cutout/breakdown: Everything stops (unless it IS an intro ) except for a guitar - it's hard-panned to the left speaker. It plays a really broken rhythm in a funny time signature and has had the high and low frequencies clipped (it sounds like it's coming through the phone, sorta, for people who might not know what that means). After a couple of cycles (think it was a two-bar loop), the second guitar joins it - this time hard-panned to the right speaker. It plays the same rhythm, but it's shifted back half a bar, so sometimes they both play a note, sometimes it's just the left, and sometimes just the right. It creates a really interesting compound rhythm shared between the two parts, and repeats a few times. Then the rest of the instrumentation joins back in. It's been a VERY long time since I've listened to metal/nu-metal/whatever - maybe six or seven years - so I know it's not on the Wrath or Resolution albums. It might be on Sacrament, but I've got a feeling it was older than that. There is a slight problem in that I can't remember with 100% certainty that it was Lamb of God. I'm ~98% confident, but there's an outside chance it might have been someone with a similar sound (Chimaira, American Head Charge ((sorta )) or DevilDriver type bands). Would massively appreciate anyone who can help out - I know a sketchy description isn't much to go on...
  2. Incredible. There truly is a new generation of riders. So weird!
  3. Tenthed. Like others, I assumed it was just me. Re-installed Chrome and everything
  4. You are so new-school it hurts. I'm by no means old-school, but damn. Was it also you that didn't know who CLS is, or was that someone else? (Not a dig - just... Wow )
  5. Not so much "silly"... It just wouldn't work Solid one-piece chain, rigid plastic brake cables, disc calipers molded to the rotors, solid levers, no bottom bracket in sight (even if it WAS plastic ) and zero bearings... Just a FEW of the flaws in this "kit" Box is far deeper than needed for panels supplied, wooden waste panel on floor from cutting out the frame parts, even though they're mostly pre-cut in the picture above... Seems more like a really poorly thought out art project than even a concept - let alone product
  6. Yeah. I was just trying to clear up that it's not the frame's fault some people find it uncomfortable
  7. I've been on a few. Not particularly keen on stocks full stop, but these seem incredibly versatile. One of them is one of the few stocks I actually kinda like, and one of them is the worst abomination ever to have been bolted together. All down to the spec!

    Spring ride

Close enough for me Awesome video! You're progressing super fast Mega-jealous of your pallets etc. too.
  9. That's not what you do though. What you do is make awful posts, and use shitty excuses to try and validate them. Josh posts pictures of his triple-seat-tubed bike on here, you say "lolz marino already did it copycat" and when taken up on it you claim you were joking. And you DO edit things after you've been taken up on something. I've noticed you do it on at least three occasions, and that's without actively looking for them.
  10. Right. I'll put this as plainly as I possibly can. You have been an arsehole before. You are being an arsehole now. When doing something you have done before, you can be said to be doing it "again". When you have occupied a particular state before, move away from it, and then return to it, you can be said to be in said state "again". You are being an arsehole, just as you have been many times before - therefore you are being an arsehole "again". Do you understand?
  11. That WAS [edit: my] explanation. I meant it literally. You do this all the f**king time. By "again", I meant you're doing this once more, just like last time. I don't think that was wriggling out - I think that was you not reading.
  12. Obviously the language barrier between you and us is more heavily fortified than I'd thought. a·gain /əˈgen/ Adverb Another time; once more: "it was great to meet old friends again". Returning to a previous position or condition: "he rose and sat down again". Synonyms anew - afresh - once more - newly
  13. Maybe you're trying to wriggle yourself out that hole you just dug again.
  14. Haha. Just furthering my point. I didn't think they had that - but I didn't know for sure so didn't try lording over everyone else.
  15. [Edit: Aimed at FamilyBiker] Just how sure of that are you? It looks to be a fairly clean angle it stops at, so I'm guessing that is actually the end of it. Also can't see any bits of silver poking out on the small bit of the bar , which it would have to if it had snapped off at the angle suggested by the shape of what's left in the big bit. I think you should stop using words like "obviously" when you obviously currently have as much knowledge on what's happened as the rest of us.
  16. It seems a strange place to break when you don't realize that's where the reinforcement ends
  17. Wow. Ok. I'd expected them to go right up at the fulcrum of the clamp. That's interesting. Was he running the insert in those forks, do you know?
  18. https://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1C1KMZB_enGB516GB516&q=carbon+bike+broken&ion=1&bav=on.2,or.r_qf.&bvm=bv.44990110,d.d2k&biw=1920&bih=995&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=-TtlUeDqNsmWO7LDgbgB I've not actually seen any broken carbon trials bars yet... I'd be intrigued to see them too. Only seen the Koxx Karbons steerer go, thinking on it. Edit: Second picture is awesome. Guy drove in to an underground car park forgetting his bike was on the roof! Must've been GUTTED
  19. Also, if they're steel then surely they loose the only advantages of alloy floating rotors, and all the weaknesses of having a join. Alloy centres are good for the stiffness, weight, and heat dissipation in non-trials use. If you make the centre part from steel, the only advantage you have is the aesthetic. Or am I missing something?
  20. It's worth noting that Superstar parts are often just rebranded parts from other companies bought from a catalog - which is why a lot of them can be cheap. For the ones that aren't - a cheap product doesn't mean a bad one. Just because you're accustomed to Koxx prices from the trials world, there's a whole different business model available. Koxx sell few at high prices. Superstar sell many at low prices. Can't speak for all their bits, but over the years I've had disc pads, rotors [edit: not the floating ones you're on about - sorry ], pedals, QRs and a seatclamp from them, and all have been perfect.
  21. Erm. Isn't that just the V4 Curve? Edit: You beat me to it
  22. Just two, actually That's a very rare occurrence though. Haha. Glad you liked it - it seemed very half arsed from my perspective and expected a slating.
