  1. My mate used to slip the chain off the front ring so if someone tried to steal it they'd jump on, try and pedal and then just fall flat on their face (prob with a shin dig aswell) ha ha. That'll teach the thieving little f**ks! Personally i just never leave my bike outside a shop if i'm on my own. If you can't afford to replace it then just don't risk it!
  2. I love the fact the sections are basicly just a straight line through a bit of countryside.
  3. Sounds interesting. However the lack of adjustability on the mounts doesn't come from the bolt reaching the end of the slot, it's the mount on the frame that buts up against the part of the clamp nearest the slave that's the problem. Do the neon mounts have that much material removed from that area? Thanks for the suggestion
  4. It's an awesome bit of design isn't it! I'm running std maggy mounts 18-15 and a trialtech rim and i have to angle my pads down about 10 degrees. Don't some of the new mounts have a bit more travel? Want to sort something out before i put new pads on there. If there's no easy solutiion i think i'm going to go with the spoke tensioner.
  5. I normally ride about 3 weekdays after work for a couple of hours and then all day on sat, i take it after riding before i have some diner. Not all that interested in bulking up to be honest but the improvement in recovery is very noticeable. Just seems like a good way of making the most of the exercise you get whilst out on the bike. Drink lots of water though, otherwise you do feel really dehydrated the next day.
  6. Get some creatine down you, i used to struggle with recovery when trying to get full riding fitness back after injury but creatine's amazing, it's like being 18 again-you can just ride every day. (get it at holland and barret on at half price at the mo).
  7. Hmmm that does look like one the better slopes around. We'll have to do a slope tour one saterday!
  8. Amazing vid! Just the combination of riding, locations and editing came together perfectly. One of the best vids i've seen on here.
  9. phhh, the youth of today, not even any respect for the law of gravity!
  10. Not done by myself or trials related so not really an entry as such but i thought i'd share them!
  11. MAN UP A couple of good shin digs and you'll have no feeling in your shins so it won't hurt anymore. Shin pads are restrictive-don't do it.

Really enjoyed watching that, thanks a lot
  13. that will have been me joe and nick. i'm on the czar (until it snaps which is going to be very soon!) joe's on the 'demon' and nick's on the zhi. we're out every sat and normally a couple afternoons/evenings a week.
  14. i'm running a 20t on a 128mm isis bb on mine and it's fine, fairly sure you won't have any probs with a 22t. If your planning on running square taper you might find you get some clearance issues between crank arm and maggie slaves, this does of course assume your running a failry standered wide rear rim!
  15. Can't even afford a bag of turnips at the moment but with another big crack in the czar i thnk it's only going to last a week or two so i'm just gonna have to find some cash! Didn't even realise tnn did a middleburn bash to be honest, i'll look into that. Not too keen on the heatsink one myself but i do love me old burns! Cheers for the help ads.
  16. Am i going to be able to run my middleburns with 20t ring and bash thats been turned down? i'm worried looking at pictures that i'll have to buy an 18t heatsink setup. and if ali c happens to be reading this, i've got an 07 czar long at the moment-how similar is the 'feel' of the stinger compared to this?

  18. poor quality and "old skool" bikes make it look a bit like an old trials kings vid except with some massive riding! love it.
  19. awesome riding buddy! i would have been impressed with alot of that even if you had some brakes.
  20. as your all here (you know who you are) fancy the seafront tomorrow or thursday, whenever it's dry really, hopefully both days. 3 o'clock onwards.
