  1. Twat it with a light hammer and block of wood, but not too hard :)
  2. Is the axle clean? Could be a small amount of dirt in the threads causing bother. Failing that, take the pinch bolt out and use a screwdriver to gently open the collar out a bit, that may make it turn. A bit of oil or penetrant would help as well. Edd
  3. Theyre only 2mil steel, its not as if you need to be very strong to move them about.
  4. Your thumbs, its easy then to know if you're pushing too hard, cos it hurts :-
  5. part where the clamp goes

  7. While we're having a rant, any chance of that tenner Spoon?
  8. Internal (N) NOT integrated
  9. 9 speed chains will run with great difficulty (or not at all) on a 7 speed cassette, but a 7 speed chain will run on a 9speed chainset with just a bit of side play
  10. RB will just fit, XTR wont, echo control will with ease. And yeah, mounts welded on the piss like that are normal :(
  11. What distance are the mounts apart?

  13. New seals wont come from magura, they dont like you faffing with sealing for obvious reasons. RB seals wont fit. So either fetch the old seal out, and go and see if somewhere like RS components does them, or find a knackered lever to cannibalise.
  14. Could be just a cover that pushes into the top of the allen bolt :S
  15. Hydraulic actuation of a v, rather than directly pushing the brake pads, I think magura do (or did) hold the master patent on their method.
  16. Sounds like a good excuse to get your arse in gear with this custom frame, Rich (Y)" :)
  17. 38mm was pretty much all we could get into my friend's base, and there was almost no room to take the cylinders back any further.
  18. Fits a standard shimano sprocket, the cassette body is shaped like that to stop the sprockets digging in so destructively (Y)
  19. If that's a proper answer, I'm the Shah of Persia. aint it about time you started paying for some advertising too?
  20. thats a bit vague isnt it? :D
  21. If the elbow (bit that hits the frame) is silver rather than black, you'll need to put a 13mm spanner on it to move it, and it might take some force to move.
  22. Development: 22/18 * (26*Pi) = 99.78 inches then : 18/12 * (20*Pi) = 94.20 inches (easier) 20/12 * (20*Pi) = 104.67 inches (harder) 20/13 * (20*Pi) = 96.62 inches (easier) 22/14 * (20*Pi) = 98.69 inches (about as close as you're gonna get :- ) Helped me when i was picking gears
