i have an ashton like yours for over a year now and i still dont know what stem/spacers combo i like the most.. ill go on Hope 110 x 10° on top two or three Headset Spacer or Trialtech Sport Forged with no spacers beneath. for bars ill recommend Trialtech Sport Riser (they are the best.)

once tryed barspin on my streetbike,hit my Sternum on the bars edge. all I could do was lie down on the ground for 15 minuts moaning breathless and watch the stars above.

(haha im on the comment that "DrStix" linked) i drilled my front rime (its a "sanrimes rhino lite") i use v brakes with inspierd blue peds and it works the same...i think? you do have to know!!! my side walls drilling "saved" my only 10g' or 15g' so really there is no point in it what so ever. it only look really cool

wow an old zebdy with 80mm suspension fork... nostalgia. dont use sidehop.(its soft and weak)dont use manitou old elite fork!(mine was rabbish) i think an old secend hand marzocchi (1500g) or fox air (1400g) are the best option, look for lenoski giant.and leech norco bike from well...2005 till now..
