  1. Right I'm watching the game now and it's been pretty good so far. It's currently New England Patriots 7 - 7 Philidelphia Eagles (not Falcons) You'll be a bit dissapointed unless you're watching on an American television. You're not going to see the American adverts over here are you, use your head boy! As for the rules, if I can be bothered I'm may explain them tomorrow. Stephen.
  2. Very nice ride but I have to say, I had the most fun when there were only a few of us left. I got some nice footage for the night ride video in some "secret" places that nobody really knows about. I'm hoping that me, Tim and Matt will all be out in a fortnight for another ride. I'm thinking of coming out to ride at about 3pm or 4pm and then riding until 10 or 11 at night. That way everywhere is empty, the police are all at home eating sunday donut lunch and it dark which helps for night rides videos. One thing which was weird about today was the amount of new riders I saw. It's been a few years since I turned up at a ride in London and only recognised a few people, but it was really nice to meet a load of new people. Keep cool, Stephen.
  3. Nice video, but I can't believe you pinched a song from another bike video - that's just cheeky. There are enough songs out there for you to choose you own  It's just something I frown apon I guess. Cheers for the video, there aren't many around at the moment. Stephen
  4. Despite the dampness of the floor, we still intend to be there for about 1pm. We'll give you lot a call and come and meet you. We might need directions though... or not. Anyway, I'm going to have breakfast now and drive to Tims - see you all later. Stephen  Edit: I'm leaving the house now, see you at about 1pm. My mobile number is 07968965016
  5. What breed of monkey is your girlfriend? I can't put what I've got my girlfriend here as she reads the forum regularly to monitor my geekyness (Hey Laura!) but I've got her a nice card, a traditional present and an untraditional present. As far as I'm concerned if you know a certain present that isn't a bunch of flowers or chocolates then why not get it? Stephen.
  6. I'm not sure i understand this stretching of the ear lobe malarky. Is the stretching permanent or does it grow go back to normal afterwards? If the effects are permanent then it seems a bit silly to me. I've read people saying they're stratching their ears to 8mm. So yeah, does it go back or do you have to keep the spacers in forever? No piercings myself, I'd love to see what I looked like with a piercing, but I expect I'd look like a cock. Some people suit a piercing here or there and others don't. Stephen.
  7. Me and Timothy will be there at about 1pm and we'll be riding until about 8pm. We'll give one of you guys a calls and catch you up. See you there, Stephen xxx
  8. Didn't go to the comfort in sound tour, but i did see them twice in the previous tour. I got their new album on Monday and got it signed by Grant, Taka and Mark (Feeder) on Wednesday which was cool. Max, add me to MSN if you haven't already and I'll send you a few songs.
  9. I'm not really into metal myself. I prefer a bit of rock, punk, indie and acid jazz. My favourite bands at the moment are Feeder, Pixies, Placebo, Bloc Party, Dillinger Four, Thrice and Weezer. But there'll always be a place in my heart for Oasis, Blur and the Verve because that was the music I was listening to when I was growing up, so I'll always like it. A quality I look for in a rock band is the ability to have a quiet melodic verse and then a big heavy chorus - this concept was actually invented by the pixies. Or failing that it can be heavy all the way through but have a nice bridge towards the end. To grasp my musical taste in afew songs, download the following: "My Perfect Day" - Feeder "Monkey gone to heaven" - Pixies Sorry for taking so long to reply to this post by the way, i was "busy" at 4am  While I'm here, I can't begin to explain to you how good the pixies are. If anybody wants me to send them a song or two then add me to MSN. Stephen.
  10. The thing about front flips is that even though they're obviously a lot harder to do, there seems to be less chance of hurting yourself. If you look at a back flip, you can get 3/4 of the way round and then land on your head. But with the front flips, if you make the first quarter then you will land on your back and not your head. Does that make sense? Anyway, brilliant front flip there, I don't know he managed it!
  11. I'm an innie, although I have a very shallow naval. Some people have like a big flabby hole, and you can't even see the bottom which is a bit dirty. My belly button is cool
  12. Change of plan, I am coming. I'll bring Tim along too. How does everybody feel about starting the ride a bit later on to get some night time footage? Just an idea, but I might come along at say 3pm and ride until 9pm and get some footage for the night ride video. Stephen.
  13. Fair play - at school I was in the football team so all I did at school was football, athletics and cross country (Borough champion (Y) )
  14. I don't think Ed has any real involvment other than giving an opinion every now and then. All I know is that when James from Swindon snapped his Leeson within 2 months Clive was pretty pissed off. He refunded James's £400 and set about designing a frame that could withstand even more abuse. As far as I'm aware Ed is just riding BMX at the moment, so I don't think he's involved but who knows.
  15. Where did you play basketball? If the answer is school, then i went to school, but I played football instead.
  16. Right, I'm sure you all know from watching the Simpsons and Friends, but the Superbowl is taking place this Sunday. As far as I'm aware it's the climax to the NFL's (American Football's) league. It's on ITV2 and Sky Sports kate at night and I was wondering whether or not anybody will be watching it. My best mate is now in Boston, MA at Berklee school of music, and since he's been in the USA I've started taking an interest in American culture - basketball, "football," and baseball. Basically, American Football is really good, I'd definitely say I prefer it to rugby or cricket. I know they wear loads of padding and armour, but as a sport I prefer it as its more entertaining than most other sports I've seen. I've bought me Madden '05 on the PS2 and I pretty much know all the rules! Anyway, will anybody else be watching the Superbowl? Do you know the rules? I'd really like to play American Football sometime, I wouldn't mind playing basketball and baseball at least once too. Anyway I'm rambling - bye bye.
  17. Brilliant, I haven't seen Wo in ages. I can't come, I'm going to my girlfriend's brother's house, but I'll be out in London next Sunday if that's any consolation. I haven't actually ridden central London at all this year, just the suburbs, Reading and Milton Keynes - it's quite nice to take a break from riding the Shell centre every week. Stephen :ermm:
  18. On the topic of Leeson's, I'm looking forward to seeing the new Leeson street frame. Clive was telling me the other day that he's got all the tubing and he knows what he wants to do he just wants somebody to test it. He wouldn't tell me, although apparently Ed Tongue knows all about it :ermm: but he's basically trying to make the front end indestructable with some sort of new design. Nice one for getting a Leeson, I can't recommend them highly enough. I've had mine for over 2 years and I've got nothing but a small dent on the chainstay. Clive loves me because I treat his bike nicely! Anyway, post some pictures when the bike's finished (Y) Stephen.
  19. I'm glad the guys at Pop Idol finally got my audition tape.
  20. Me and Tim were there last night from 10am - 1am, there's still a giant piece of shit underneath the Hexagon. Enjoy (Y)
  21. I'm currently looking for an automobile. I have £3500 right here in front of me and another £1500 in the bank for insurance. Anybody got any ideas as to what I should get? People who say mini's go straight onto my ignore list. I was thinking of a Peugeot 306, T or V reg maybe, but I know nothing about cars though so if you have any better ideas then let me know. It has to be 1.4 maximum (because of insurance costs), it needs to be a hatchback so I can get the bikes in easily. It can't be red or white. Cheers, Stephen.
  22. ...When you've watched Tricks and Stunts more times than Neighbours. When you get excited by the registration R923 XUP
  23. Great topic Nick  When you nearly crash into the back of the car infront because you were concentrating on the rail gap at the side of the road. When you ride Reading from 10pm - 1am just so you can film a night ride video When every project you get at university has to involve trials somehow. Make a magazine - Trials. Talk about Internet communities - Trials-Forum. Take some photos showing narrative - Trials Photos. We're all sad, Stephen.
  24. You don't get mooses, or should I say "meese" in this country do you? Anyway, no I don't live on a moose farm, and you look stupid anyway. Also for the record I think this is the most bizarre topic I've ever seen on this forum. toodleoo, I'm off to ride Reading :P
