When I stayed in Ealing Hospital (West London) it was shite. I was in a ward full of old dying men (literally, one died). They spent the whole night praying to Jesus, very loudly, and being sick. Because the area of Ealing has a high Asian population, my entire floor had at one point nobody who spoke English - that annoyed me. The hospital was clean enough and I could see central London in the distance out the window. So not all hospitals are great. If I ever had a problem again I'd go private. I'm not spending another week in a place like that.

You need a lead singer. There's nothing wrong with your songs but the lyrics were interesting and the vocals are were, (in my opinion, and I like all rock music) awful to say the least. The song without the vocals was by far the best. Really really not my cup of tea. Back to Bloc Party me thinks.

I couldn't agree more, I'd have filmed it from the bottom of the stairs. That way the post wouldn't be in the way :- I'll be honest - I didn't like the site. I hope you don't mind the criticism, but I thought the photos were below par, most of them are stills from film which is fair enough, but the site didn't really excite me. I've never been to your website before so I don't know if I'd have preferred the old layout.

How much are you willing to spend? You say she already has jewellery, but does she have anything particularly special? I got my girlfriend a Tiffany & Co necklace for her 18th, it cost just under £100 but she seems to love it to bits. She hasn't taken it off in a year and a half so I take that as a good sign. If money's short then have a word with her parents and see if there's something that doesn't cost the Earth that she's been after for years. That way you've used your initiative, put a lot of thought into it and got her something special. Let us know your budget and maybe we can come up with some better ideas. When's her birthday?
