I downloaded iOs4 for mine and ended up jailbreaking it within 20 mins. Best idea ever.

I downloaded iOs4, realized I didn't get multitasking or background on my iPod touch 2g and jail broke it within an hour. Gave apple the chance and they failed to give me multitasking.

WIN! I'm a first year hoping to get some work over the summer. Got my end of year review tomorrow and bricks are being shat.

If Laurence--Trials got in then I reckon that you can too. I mean your post seems to be well thought out and you do raise a good point but no system is ever flawless is it. Have my vote and good luck.
