They're heat treated 4130 cro-mo, Steerer....I wouldn't know but I'm guessing it's 1 piece, I know the paint will be a write off, that's not important.
I'm no welder so I don't know what's realistic, any advice welcome, cheers.
Can anyone make adjustments to a steel fork? I have a fork that's too long for my liking & I'd like the dropouts & disc mount both slid up the legs about 10mm - 12mm.
Obviously you'll know that these things all need to line up pretty much perfectly, ideally you'd have a caliper & a wheel to make sure it's all good, or a jig. Anyone know anyone? Not looking to spend a lot as they're not worth a fortune, but I don't want a messy job done either.
I'm actually considering getting some, thing is..Tarty Bikes says they're 3mm taller than my Holy Rollers, which is roughly the clearance I have to my seat stay brace (very tight) It could go either way.
If they don't fit can they be returned? Unused but fitted obviously. I should probably ask this to Tarty direct but someone else might wanna know too.
It was all just huge, I'm glad the foot jam whips were kept to a minimum too.
Watched it a few times now, that last move just bent my mind, who else would even think about doing that?
Try different stacker/stem height too, a Fourplay doesn't need a massive front end unless you're 6ft 4".
Tactics are big, so you'll need less height from the stem/spacers.
Unlike most people, I found my standard Saint sintered pads pretty crap, I've got 3 M810 Saint brakes, all felt pretty average with standard pads, and much better with aftermarket ones.
