  1. Yeah it's a gamble buying them used as you can't service them, I'm on my 4th rear lever (first 3 were used, this one's new & fine)
  2. Na they've been the same geo for over a year since Ross got the first one. Little details might have changed though, I've never had one.
  3. I don't usually like purple on bikes, but that looks brilliant.
  4. All 4 series of Spartacus. Blood and sand, Gods of the arena, Vengeance and War of the damned. Best thing ever.
  5. Cheers! Yeah apparently it's an RSV1000R (not Mille) it's from late 2003, but I think it's classed as the 2004> model, and it's a nightmare trying to find the right pillion seat! Paid £2700, it's a cat C but I don't really care, it's just the odd bit of questionable paint finish & a missing infill panel. Proper tidy ones are going for £4k. Yeah I've had 2 older Milles before & read all about the sprag clutch thing, but it seems to be fine, alarm won't do the battery any favours though.
  6. That's probably my favourite bike ever! Picked this up today, bargain, RSV-R with all the Ohlins kit & OZ wheels.
  7. Jonny, you do it best, now just do it more!
  8. Danny has too many skills.
  9. Lol cheers! That's what happens when you improve very little in 12 years :wink2:
  10. Filmed about 2002, pretty much my first camera. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgUKAhGAVmw
  11. I don't own one, but I've used a couple of racing lines, I can't imagine anything being better, ever.
  12. Yeah I found Avid rotors really good too.
  13. WD40 the pistons? Obviously wipe them right off after. Was it brand new?
  14. Was an '09 Fourplay. Ok actually he did change the bar & stem...and brakes. But wheels & everything else are from 2009. He also thought a 5 year old chainring would be fine with a new chain.
  15. Yeah it's all pretty nice, all the parts are off an old full build bought from a shop so there are no crappy parts on it, apart from the pedals.
  16. Maybe some people think theirs won't make a difference because of all the others sent. But if everyone's been thinking like that...
  17. Yeah all the black bits work nicely! He had an old Mk1 Inspired with a big crack in the chainstay, never rode very nicely, too long & too high. He instantly prefers this with the shorter top tube & shorter chainstays & lower bb. It's just more responsive in every way. He could still use a little bit more steerer tube on this bike but that's his fault!
  18. Yeah it's 980, 74, +20 and 360/365 ish with his 22-16 ratio, it's at the shorter end of streety, but nice & steep at the front. His build's definitely lighter than mine, his Magura MT2's instead of my Saints, his Middleburns instead of my Saints etc.
  19. New Marino Archive, local one, not mine. He liked my colour so much he copied it. Has a nice new disc mount and is generally very nice to ride.
  20. Joe that just might be the ugliest bike I've ever seen.
  21. It was! I loved them, but Mavic wouldn't get with the times so we all had to move on. Imagine a 40mm D521. You wouldn't get a stronger rim! These days it's still stronger than most, but sadly narrower than all
  22. Didn't think of that! They're a nice idea but they don't really seem to be much use. Any rim of about 35mm+ should sort you out.
