Jacks always wearing his yellow ribos when I've seen him this season. Think Adam is going to try a pair.

Robin M S/c replied to BikeTrial Federation's topic in Clubs and Competitions
The 2 days count towards the overll score for that event so to score points you need to do both days but you could ride one day on a non points scoring basis. -

Tyke Trial Round 5 - This Sunday, 28Th Oct

They'll be nothing big on green. Say 12" max. Practice tight things and being able to hop into position so you can make the most of the room available. -
Tyke Trial Round 5 - This Sunday, 28Th Oct
Robin M S/c replied to Ben Swales's topic in Clubs and Competitions
You drove around the perimeter of the venue! There were 3 rough tracks up to the car park and one had a biketrial sign. It was a good but wet and cold day. See you at Harden. -
Sting will be a good compromise on size. Longer than a 207 but shorter than a full size 20". If they get into it then it could be upgraded to make it better.
-
May bring Adam along.

Def too big for a mini master. Adam has been on a monty 207 (20" wheels front and rear) for 4 years now. Think she sounds right for that size but they are quite rare second hand. A normal 20"/19" is about 4" longer than a 207.

What Names Do You Recognise!? - Real Old Skool

I just have to comment that I'm mentioned in the team trial on the expert route and Toni Bou was scared so rode the intermediate route!!! Lol. Keep telling Adam that but he doesn't believe me. -
Just put together a few clips of Adam having his first proper practice session on his new prototype Onza Genesis XS. Seems to be settling in nice. https://vimeo.com/52104809

Matlock Quarry Or Salford Quays This Thursday
Robin M S/c replied to isitafox's topic in Member Organised Rides
The rocks at Matlock are fine when it's wet. You should of been there Sunday as there were about 8 or 9 people riding. -
Nice and easy. Nothing big, just tricky little things
-
Vasha awesome as normal. Definately the best rider to watch at comps.
-
Yeah, I noticed that just after I'd put it on. Monty race tyres, carbon bars and titanium BB will be on his comp bike.
-
Adam is getting a liitle big for his Monty 207 and after talking to Joe at Onza he has kindly supplieda new prototype Onza for Adam. It has the geo for someone small with 980 wheelbase, 350mm chainstays and a +50 bb for his BIU style. Hes only had an hour on it so far but it seems really good. Only built as a practice bike so far with a lighter comp version to be done over the winter.

Awesome as normal.

Tyke Trial Fun Weekend And Open Team Trial

Great stuff. We'll be there. -
My first event was in 1981. Sure I have some press cuttings from that era.

Here are some clips of Adam practicing during out trip to the BIU world championships in France and Spain and the UCI Youth Games in France.

Kevin. Try All is definateley good especially if muddy. It's a bit early to tell with monty race yet. Majority of people at worlds were using them. Very light and soft compound. Adam has a front and it's great on the rocks but not tried it in the mud yet. Think we will have 1 of each to try for next season.
