  1. Couldn't give a full run down of cycles I've owned but here's a few.... Onza T-Rex. When I killed that^, I got a Sidekick frame and built the parts into that for trials... Then turned into this when I killed the frame... ...which eveolved into the sweetest build I've ever owned- pic is in the Favourite cycles thread. Along with this^, I had this... ...and this happened... ...so, new frame and it became this... Sold it after I snapped the BB and broke my foot. No more streety stuff for me. Then sold the Echo and had a major cycle lull. No bikes for me for a year. That year sucked. Edit...forgot to add this... getting about bike. Was a lot of fun- frame now lives with a mate on the IOW. Bought this as a 30 euro A-B bike when I lived in Milan... sick town ride yo... The bought this as a commuter and fitness bike, not bad given the frameset is from 1950... Stripped the ol' girl n built up... And now... back to trials...build in progress. Soon, you shall be complete little fourplay.
  2. All the way from 2006. Loved this bike, biggest regret ever selling it.
  3. Rasta you say...? Needs one of these
  4. Looking good! Would you recommend the hose splitter to be a worthwhile mod for a rear mag? - Currently thinking about it, will probably do it but interested in feedback!
  5. ...my bad ... or Pretzel?
  6. Takin' it back to the oldskool! Looks good imho... didn't realise hope did split anodised hubs back then- I think many colours suits a ride of this age! Interesting shifter mounting and that's the craziest snowflake I've ever seeen...
  7. Nice work! I had one of these frames many moons ago, never built it up in the end would have loved to try it out. Those decals from the previous owner are horrific! Major taste defect.
  8. 'ere mate...is that a Tron-trials-bike? *said in chav.
  9. Over looked this but glad I watched it now, some mad drops and tastie gaps! Thanks for sharing
  10. ...but that boat's pretty freakin tasty!

That was awesome. Nice to see people mixing it up into style fusions with no limits. Ok it's a trials vid comp, but if it was all TGS I would have fallen asleep by the 3 vid...
  12. When I've got my ride built I'll have to come out with you guys!
  13. What about giving them a powder coat? It'll come off over time, but I imagine less so than if you were to rattle can cranks. I know of a few people that have used Amourtex for powder coating cranks and they seem to hold up ok!
  14. ^Nice pics man, where abouts in Pompy is that first pic taken?
  15. Looks good man! I've been told there's a package for me a work...will pick it up tomorrow
  16. Cheers man - was red with white lug lining when I got it, but stripped it to raw for something that's less eye catching! Some new colours for this will happen at some point in the future... How'd you do the spraying? Rattle cans or with a spray gun?? Looks like a decent job!
  17. thanks both. Giving up on it this time round won't be an option... got a frame sorted so it's all systems go!
  18. Looks good! All black wheels would be stealthy, but I reckon silver rims on your ride would look pretty boss. I think you may have misunderstood part of my previous post- but it wasn't the clearest, so easy to misread! ...was saying carbon wheels can bump up the price quite a lot. Then that what I paid for the frame and front wheel!
  19. Ha! Wouldn't call myself a wealth of knowledge on the subject, but happy to share what I know! Yes to the 700c forks question, although you do still get some TT bikes coming with both wheels at 650c size... But would always say stick to the size of forks the frame was designed for! Yeah, the prices vary- all depends on groupset, tubing and builder/brand of the frame, of course with a bit of research you can get to understand what groups are worth, and what framesets go for. Also a lot of the carbon gear gets the prices up! Like wheels etc- not cheap. For mine I paid just over a couple hundred beans, with front wheel as well. Needs blasting and a respray due to it's current condition- but building trials rig as the priority, so like I say it's on the back burner! Don't think I'll be letting it go, but I'll give you a shout if I do Keep your eyes pealed- something will come up at some point! Nice looking ride! What frame you running?
  20. I'll be game for joining in the fun when I've got something built... may not be until after the winter period now by the time it's built.
  21. So, an epic dredge of this thread... The Pashley never came to be, and I sold it on here not long after I posted to say hi. 4 years later, and last night I finally decided I needed trials back in my life. It's been a while, but a build is on the horizon. Will post pics when I'm done, and will contribute to the forum as time goes on. Anyone riding trials in the Hampshire area? I've moved down here not long ago, and could do with some bike friends.
