  1. Good news people that like riding around London, Southbank is saved. Here is a link so you know I'm not telling a porkie http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/sep/18/skaters-southbank-centre-undercroft-london-remains-open
  2. Looks like the future of XC bikes to me
  3. So you can swoop in and apply as well? Nice try, but competition is fierce. Dead fierce.
  4. I recommend an Aspirin daily at 4:45. Prevention is better then the cure and all that. But most of all don't way, life will, uhhhh, find a way.

    Films!?

Jack Reacher was pretty good, one of those 'wouldn't watch again but glad I did' ones. Rise of Planet of the Apes was amazing, better than the previous but I don't like James Franco so that makes sense. Adventure Land's okay. Kristen Stewart's actually pretty good in it where as Jesse Eisenberg is typical Jesse Eisenberg. Speaking of Jesse Eisenbery, Now You See Me was very good, although kind of annoyed I called the plot twist but all the actors are great and make it very worth watching. Captain America 2 also very good. Got a lot of good hype and I thought it defiantly lived up too. And so ends another Bikeperson45 movie round up
  6. Crazy good, even though the non-descriptive title thing remains an annoyance
  7. My parents went to the trouble of framing the condom I managed to break my way out of while trying not to conceive me, so probably that as a reminder of my determination; and in the house on fire situation, my will to live.
  8. My longish camping riding around trip went pretty good. Friend ended up coming sooner then expected but worked out okay. Had to change my route and my list of things and places to go to only got about 30% done but feel like it allows for 'sequels'. Slept so much better camping than I do at home though...
  9. The Catholics are right, God hates rubbers.
  10. It's all about street these days. Everyone's given up with tape measures and replaced them with protractors, so this criteria is pretty dated. Would have been good around the time people were using Limp Bizcit in videos.
  11. Grandparents are coming tomorrow which dulls things down for a few days, but leaving for my solo camping bike trip around the coast on Sunday and really excited about it. Mapped out places to go to, have a map of all the campsites along the coast and a map of where all the Mcdonals are. Ended up saying to my friend that him and the other one should just come and meet me for a few days in the New Forest. They're terrible at organizing but it doesn't realy matter to me whether they come or not because it'll be cool regardless. Finally have a little trip thing to look forward to.
  12. Fashions all about having gloves but having them sticking out of your back pocket instead of wearing them when you're riding. It's one of the few ways to ride trials in a way so that people think you're cool
  13. In a week I was going to go on a trip by myself on my bike along the coast. I was out with some friends yesterday and I'd said I wouldn't be able to make something because of this trip and one of them just kind of invited himself along and wants to make it different. So now I'm thinking about telling him not to come. He's my friend and all and it would be good to have him but it's a fairly serious cycling thing and I know he's just not up for it. I've planned it to be a challenge for me so there's pretty much no way he'll be able to do it without drastically changing the route which would be effort at this point having mapped out the campsites. I went on a 16 mile ride with him yesterday that I've done before in hours and fifteen minutes without much effort and with him it was a little over three hours. Plus I had just wanted it to myself this time. I'm pretty fed up with my job and my family and stuff at the moment so I'd been really looking forward to just going off by myself and not have to deal with anything else for a few weeks and it just won't be the same with him coming along. The appeal was that I could have a freedom to make it up as I go along without having to get in any arguments about the route or where we going or anything else that comes with spending a solid two weeks with the same person. So now I'm left with either completely compromising the trip that I've been really looking forward to for the past few weeks or letting down my friend who will inevitably be pretty insulted by telling him he's not welcome.
  14. It's a cool place for anything outdoor related, if you're doing geography you'll probably cream yourself
  15. Really if you're amazing at sidehops you wouldn't need anything else. S for life.
  16. Have another question TF, one that doesn’t involve trying to save £13 In a week or so I’m going to be riding around the south coast, most likely not further west then the New Forrest kind of area. Going to be on bike and camping most of it and wondering, before I start planning in a bit more detail, is there any places I should go visit? As in any cool or interesting places that I probably won’t find when typing ‘places to go along south coast UK’ on google. Or even if there’s any places that I would find what are the places really worth going to while I’m down there? Guys
  17. Robin Williams death, such a hero and so sad they're saying it was suicide
  18. As soon as one seeps their way through it's all downhill pretty much, and it's legally not that easy to fire people these days without a real cause. My current job was going pretty nicely til the woman I was actually temping for came back. The situation of her death has crossed my mind, just because I know of someone tells me she's died it'll be hard to smile a wee bit or cover that glint of joy in my eyes. This reply wasn't meant to be as crazy when I hit quote, I swear
  19. Got one of those cheapish Tesco tablets and really happy with it. The 'I'm from the future' fell of a tablet will probably wear off though
  20. Please see above evidence for validation system
  21. I'll explain yesterdays situation more then I do have an Orange phone that I bought specifically for Orange Wednesdays since it can save £13 each time, use it three times and I'd already broken even. Tried yesterday and just couldn't get the phone to start up properly. Didn't want to cancel on my other friend who was going forty five minutes before because that'd just be being a douche so sucked up the extra £13 and saw it anyways, with just a little resentment that my orange phone hadn't worked. Also my cinemas stupidly over priced and were only showing it in 3D. It's only £1 difference for the extra D anyway
  22. Cheaper but by the time I've added the train fare it's pretty much the same. First world problems and all that
  23. Guardians of the Galaxy was good, just not £13 a ticket good. I wish cinema tickets had the same price increase as Freddos
