I liked The Conjuring, my issue was that the first 15 minutes were the best part for me though.

I'm doing pretty much the most repetitive office job you could think of til the end of January. Only nice thing is I get to read a bunch of documents when there's not much work, which is often. Got to read the health procedures of breast enlargement and definitions of forensic science the other day which was cool. Plus I get to see some people's CVs when I upload them for the committees. Seen some really well qualified people with some bad CVs, one guy wrote the whole thing in third person and the front page was mostly a picture of his face

Yep, because I needed knee surgery insurance to go back would have been thousands. Back to messing around here

I used to be pretty fussy (not as much as described) but eat pretty much anything now as long as it doesn't look like the animal it is. I can't do soup or hot drinks though at though

So sick of my parents going on about me going to university. I'e explained my reasons so many times for not going and pretty sure I just don't want to, and not in a lazy way but in a I don't see it benefiting me way. I loved being myself so much in America and not having to put up with them trying to be controlling all the time. And it sounds kind of angsty teenager but I just wish they would actually at least be indifferent to the things I want to do or even supportive instead of constantly putting me down about it.

My neighbour thinks her house is haunted. One time there was a bunch of stones in our gutters that run parallel to each other that looked like someone had stuffed them in there. My dad went to ask if she had actually done it intentionally and she said, no, it was the ghost. Apparently she’s seen him a few times; a tall thin man with glasses and a slightly old fashioned bowler hat thing. One time she called us to say she needed someone to get here, that the ghost was pinning her down in her bed and she had just managed to reach the phone. When my dad got there she had fallen out of the bed. I thought that was either a miner kind of sleep paralysis or an elaborate excuse to ask for help because she was embarrassed to be old and not be able to get up again. The creepy part for me though was when she has a friend over to stay the night. In the afternoon the woman had been walking down the stairs, heard a bang from behind and turned around to see the back of a man walk into a spare room and close the door. She got down and asked my neighbour who the man with the hat was, without ever being told the thing about the ghost man in the hat. They went up, apparently, and the door was closed. They knocked, got no reply, opened the door and saw nobody. She had the house blessed by a priest a few days later with no cinematic results. I’m a little creeped out by this, especially since coming back from America my bedroom window and her window and seven metres apart and visible to each other, scare I’ll look at and see someone looking back at me Plus I’ve had a dream where I look out my window at night and see a silhouette of hat man. I couldn’t make anything out, but then he starts walking towards my house and I get to freaked out to stay asleep

Must be annoying to click to watch a video then not get to.

I'd agreed with Dave at first because the video had been up at the time, had been hoping that G was going to go back to normal with videos...

Went to bed two and a half hours ago... -
So your scary story is 'I saw a dog one time'

Some of the filming at the beginning annoyed me though, I prefer seeing the whole rider in the frame, but that was really awesome. I turned off Zombie by the Cranberries before watching this

Time for a TF intervention?

Went out ad got a new laptop this morning on clearance. Only laptop I've owned newer than a 2002 model and chuffed. Getting nice things with earned money's a nice feeling.

I don't have a suggestion, I just love that this topic was made on Christmas day at 1:52 in the afternoon and the first sentence is 'she thinks I'm not able to get her a christmas present...'

Calvin and Hobbes always makes me happy. Except the raccoon story

It was banner year with the old family this year. I got a carton of cigarettes. My old man grabbed me and said "Smoke up, kiddo", alright? -
Agreed, f*ck is often more offensive than pussy and has less multiple meanings. I'm going to go back to the marketing gimmick though (), when I asked the question about whether a product using the word f*ck could be sold openly, apparently the answer is yes as long as another meaning can be provided when complaints come in. Because they've both been allowed purely on the basis that they've had, what I consider to be, irrelevant alternate meanings I think it's an obvious gimmick and that's the basis I don't think the names should be allowed to advertise so publicly.
-
The F*cking Hell beer's supposedly named after a town called F*cking though, despite not actually being brewed there. Like Pussy, it looks like they took the opportunity to exploit the double meaning thing and then when it was criticized they were able to say that they meant another meaning of the word, in their case the place, and were then allowed to continue to use the word to help their business.

It doesn't look like we'll agree so posting is kind of pointless. My main reason for posting now is pretty much everytime I get called a retard or whatever for typing out something I think, I'm going to reply to explain how my thoughts aren't retarded but based on a logical thought process. If anything I think evidence of me not being a retard here is that I managed to post without resorting to petty insults and overly recycled memes while others did.
