I have been using Windows Live Movie Maker to edit out adverts and excess from using the timer of films and Tv programs I have recorded through window media center. I know Windows Live Movie Maker is a bit shite, but it is the only free editing software I have found that will support the media center recorded format. I have also tried converting the file before editing but again haven't found a free conversion software that will do it.
Yesterday I did one and after I saved the finished edit, The sound was a few seconds out of sync. I deleted it and started again twice, re-booting my PC in between and it is still doing it. It has never done this before and I haven't just had an update or anything so I am a bit confused about why it's suddenly doing it.
I have searched the net and have found stuff about other people having the same or a similar problem but haven't found any solution to the problem.
Has anyone had this problem before or can anyone think of anything?
Any help will be appreciated.
