You can reuse those olives. All the fittings will swap straight across. I haven't done a braided hose for a very long time but I seem to remember that you have to cut abit of the outer plastic off the ends for the olives to fit over. Just thought I would mention it if you run into it and aren't too sure. I may be mistaken though.

I run 30mm of stacker, hope 90 x 10mm stem and trialtech highrise bars on my inspired (still want it higher, wish I didn't cut the steerer tube now.). I think it looks better that way as short, steep stems and/or mega rise on bars looks silly in my opinion.

How stiff is the frame? A booster might improve things, It usually works for me anyway. It's funny how pads work differently for different people. Heatsink yellows is my current favourite and has been for ages now. I haven't tried TNN pads though because I haven't felt the need to change. Why risk possible disappointment when I am happy with what I have.

Had another blast just now and I had some thoughts. I really wish they would take out quick scoping, some people are just too good at it and make it so you can't shoot and lie down at the same time (drop shots they call them?). The people that "drop shot" are the most annoying. Even more annoying then people who camp or just use grenade launchers all the time. Does anyone agree?

I'm not a battlefield fan. I don't find it very fun. Can never get into it. Got mw3 earlier and have played it abit. First impressions are that it isn't anyhting special... but it's ok. I agree that cod 4 is the best. What did you guys think of black ops? I have heard that not many people liked it. Black ops is my second favourite.

This! But I will be getting mw3 later today hopefully.

I couldn't find it either but it's dead simple. Take the lever blade off. Fully unscew the tpa (a 2p coin might help with this). lever off the red tpa wheel with a screwdriver. And screw the bolt into the bit with threads inside that sits in the lever blade. Put the lever blade back on and it's done. You can also grind a slot in the new bolt head and cut it down a tad if needed, drill a whole in the the TPA wheel and put it back together like it was before but stronger. This is that I do.

If the tensioner isn't in line enough it will make it skip or pull the chain off of the sprocket. If you get THIS I believe you can adjust the chain line with out loosing tension from the spring as the rod that slides across isn't round so it won't spin around when you undo the pinch bolt. Not 100% sure on that though. Or you could run a mech and a shifter.

2 days before his 85th birthday . RIP.

I don't know the answer as I have never done it, but you could give Hope a call if you don't get the answer you are looking for on here or want the answer quickly.

Only if you wanted to put straight tubes to change the geometry back in. Curved tubes should compensate for that. I know it was only an example, but the geo difference and frame style is extremely different between the inspired and the koxx. Geometry tweeks on the same style frame would be alot more subtle as the angles won't be as far off. I love this idea. Looking forward to seeing more of it. I too am curious of how well the clamps hold together with things like hooks and stuff.

I just looked it up and it says '60 on IMDB, wikipedia and on a number of results in a google search. So I guess it is a 1960 film.
-
At a guess, they searched for it on youtube. I typed in 'tnn hs33' and it was top result. And yeh, filing the frame should do the trick. If your rims braking surface is slightly sloped aswell, the there is also a TNN video showing you how to sand the pads down so it isn't only the top of the pad hitting the rim. This isn't a must do thing though as it will wear itself square on it's own in time. But it you want your pads to work at their full potential straight away, you might want to check out the video.

Dracula and psycho spring to mind. If I think of anymore I will post again. Have a look in IMDB if you haven't already.

I put 16:9 for the sake of your video just because it is the standard these days. I do prefer 4:3 though. Everything from films and TV shot in IMAX on big 4:3 screens would be awesome.

I remember reading on here (don't know if it is true) that the most surface area, the more hold and the more holes, the better the bite. I don't now how the shapes of holes effect things. Most rotors look like they are patterned just to look good, so it might just be a case of deciding on a hole/material ratio and making it look good. I'm just guessing though, so I could be miles wrong.

In the sense that the meaning of the joke only goes in one direction, yes.
-
Oh, sorry I thought it was Mac vs PC joke as that is an argument Mac fans always use. For all I know, you could be one of these... ...with a dark sense of humour. It's hard to tell over the internet. Sorry again for ruining your joke.

That is a common myth. The main readon macs don't get as many viruses is because there aren't very many aimed at macs. Windows probably (at a guess) has about 70-80% of the market. Where do you think hackers will spend their time targeting? They design and build them with windows in mind. I have read loads of articles from experts saying that Mac viruses, trojans and stuff are coming, since macs are getting more popular it is becoming a bigger target. Which is probably why there is a growing number of Mac anti-virus software coming out. Viruses are down to the user in my opinion. I have had windows security essentials on windows 7 now for ages and it has always instantly told me if something isn't right and sorted it out for me. So with some decent software and regular scans, you shouldn't get to many problems.

They may not make you personally want it, not all advertising techniques work on everyone, but there are a hell of alot of people it does work on. For example, I know people who drink the stuff everyday as a normal drink and people who wear energy drink logos on their clothing, cars, bikes, motobikes, helmets etc because it is "cool". I know people who don't even like energy drinks but do this because it's what Ken Block has, making it cool. Yes Apple fanboys will buy it all. I once had a despute with one on the PC vs MAC debate. He was comparing his Mac to his old on PC untill I asked him how much the PC cost that he was comparing it too and he didn't answer and quickly changed the subject.

I never said that is all they do. I said it is what they do alot of the time. I have seen loads of apple adverts saying look how thin this is, this product suits everyone, look how much fun we are having with this, this is mind blowing, this is everything in 1... I could go on. But you rarely find an advert saying about what it has, what it does and it's specification. Lots of companies do it and it works very well on the "cool kids" who are who they are trying to win over. Another example but slightly different is energy drinks. But instead of adverts saying they are cool, they just slap their logo on everyones heroes and icons which automatically makes people think that it is cool. I know loads of companies sponser athletes and stuff but energy drinks do it on a bigger scale. Redbull especially, who even create their own events (redbull x-fighters, and the airplane one) and race teams (F1). It's alot more effective then a coca-cola banner of the side of a football pitch.

He was an idea and marketing man so I have heard, not so much on the technical side. Marketing apple have done very well. Apple has a hell of alot of "street cred" which is brilliant considering how crap and over-priced alot of their stuff is and some in my opinion quite pointless (iPad, iPod touch). Have you ever noticed how most of Apples adverts never really say much about what the product can do, but more of how cool and stylish it is. The only apple product I like are the iPods (except the touch), although I have never bought a new one because of the prices. For ages my mp3 players have been second hand iPods that have been bought on ebay. I am up to a 3rd gen nano, all the others broke because of me standing on them and breaking the screens and stuff like that. Still, never nice to hear about someone dying. Especially at a fairly young age. RIP.

Have you rounded the allen key heads on the bolts? They were really easy to round so I suggest making a slot in them with a hacksaw, so you can get a screwdriver in there to undo them and replacing them with THESE torx head bolts.
