  1. The bolts are a tad longer I believe. I got mine new so I have exactly what is in that picture. Proper bolts and spacers.
  2. Yes they are longer. You see on the inside of tensile booster the sides are straight near the mount holes... on other boosters they are cut out abit to clear the pads. So the longer spacers are needed otherwise the pads will hit the side of the booster.
  3. I never had the pad problem. Did you use the bigger spacers it comes with? As I tried it with the smaller 'standard' size spacers and the pads wouldn't fit under the booster properly because it was too wide.
  4. Heatsink and tensile are both brilliant from my experience. But for some reason ( I think I probably read it on here ) I have it in my mind that there were tyre clearance issue with the heatsink booster on mod bikes. I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
  5. Yes you can put spacers above the stem. Have play around with different heights to find what feels best for you.
  6. oops. Typo. It wasn't suited to me. That's why i went back to it. From a long echo control.
  7. Long wheel base and slack head angle wasn't really suited to me and my riding style. So I dusted off the ashton frame and built it again. I missed it if i'm honest, haha.
  8. YES! I do like the look of that frame alot. Looks very simple and neat with the smaller 'wings'. Love the fade with the subtle graphics aswell. Better than a big green in your face ZOO!.
  9. FFW may have more technical and price advantages... but having burns and a freehub is cool.
  10. My mk1 inspired has the different 4-bolt mount welds to the blue one pictured. It has the same as the new inspired (with-out the weld up the middle). Did it change with different batches or something..?
  11. I'm sure I have seen one with only one snail cam on the drive side (I will try and find the pic). And I have seen it done with the snail cams on the outside of the frame. But can't you only do that on some frames?
  12. Do you have an old mech you can use as a tensioner so you get beeter wrap?
  13. They are a piece of piss to service. What I would do is take it apart (there are videos of how to do this on the hope website) have a look and see if there is anything obviously wrong/broken/missing, give it a good clean, re-lube it and put it back together to see if it has solved the problem. Lube like this will do the trick http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?product_id=11151&category_id=541
  14. That for me is what made it amazing.
  15. Stumbled across this. http://www.redbull.co.uk/cs/Satellite/en_UK/Event/021242908456696
  16. Apart from the orange rims, I like it. I might get one of those frame early next year.

    Black Ops

I'm liking it so far. Only bit I am finding annoying at the moment is the diving. I keep diving over my care packages when i go to lie down to get them.
  18. I hardly ever get email notifications anymore for PM's and watched topics etc. But on the rare occasion that I do, they are delayed be atleast a few hours. I have checked the notification options and they seem fine. Any thoughts?

Anybody know if it will be cheaper in sainsburys tomorrow? If so I might get it.
  20. Like this at 9-10 seconds in from on top of the flat rock?
  21. That is so, so good looking. Love the small touches of blue.

Agreed. I had one on the front of my trials bike for about a month and was very disapointed with them. Then I put it on my XC bike and am still disapointed with it. Had It for about a year now, It hasn't leaked but I agree with craig about it being spongey and the lack of power.

Are the forks on the Element the same as the current inspired forks just without the machined out and smoothed off bits to make them cheaper? If so will they be out soon seperately? I need some new forks soon and if they are priced nicely it may be worth the wait.
