  1. [quote name=curry ' timestamp='1307234145' post='2301013] chears! Where does it say what size my rear sprocket is.... im learning, slowly .
  2. When it is tensioned properly and you pedal it backwards lightly by hand, does it feel free with no tight/stiff areas? Because I find that you usually get slightly tighter and looser parts in the drivetrain as things aren't always perfectly centric and fixed tensioners don't compinsate for this. I used to get funny noises sometimes when I used a fixed tensioner and it was over tensioned on a tight spot so it could be your problem aswell. It could also be chainwrap as Mark said. You could try using an old mech as a double wheel tensioner to see if that solves the problem aswell.
  3. [quote name=curry ' timestamp='1307232721' post='2301004] Thanks! And it says long or standard, so which one out of those should i pick?
  4. I'm pretty sure you will need 8, 2, 10, 9, 6 and 5.
  5. I would take the spit link out and put a normal link back in, give the chain a clean, re-lube it and see it that solves the problem.
  6. I rarely slip off my pedals but before I had shin pads, I got a few really nasty ones that went basically all the way down my shin. I rarely ride without shin pads now. I decided it's better to have hot, sweaty shins then unwanted gashes and some pain.

Cheers man. Yeh I will catch you on msn and sort something out.
  8. Here are some pics of the new bike. Had my first proper ride on it today after haveing to wait for a new rear sprocket and I am loving it. Thanks too dirt jumper jake for the frame.
  9. I prefer the challenger myself.
  10. i'm pretty sure the veyron super sport does 267mph.
  11. No, no problems with that. 32h is pretty much the standard.
  12. I think it's fair. Alot of money is spent on smoking and drinking related problems like cancer, heart problems, liver problems etc. And a tax increase wouldn't really affect people who drink a healthy amount much. It will be the alcoholics and binge drinkers who will notice a significant difference and they are the ones who are more likley to be hospitalised from drinking too much.
  13. A possible solution is that you could run the wheel as far back in the dropouts and use a spoke or 74kingz tensioner to take up any extra slack.
  14. First things I would check is it the top cap was hitting the steerer tube which will stop it from pre-loading the headset properly and If the headset is put together properly. In the right order and nothing missing.
  15. It is pretty straight forward when you know what you are doing. Search for it on youtube, there are a load of videos showing you how to true wheels that you might find very useful.
  16. Brakeless is awesome. I took my brakes off a few weeks ago ( I tried it last year but never really got into it ) and I am haveing more fun on my bike then I have had in ages. Also I find the learning curve is quite steep once you get used too it so you feel good with yourself. I have also noticed quite a significant improvement in my balance and bike control.
  17. Yeh. It being off with the the kick and also slightly off with the piano makes it sound abit off too me.
  18. I have listened to it 4 times now and the main tune doesn't quite sound right with whats going on with the beat in the background to me. Is this just me? Apart from that though it sounds good.
  19. the evo has new bearings including needle bearings in the freehub body. And it has evo written on it. That's all I know.
  20. I also heard this and to be honest it won't suprise me if it is true. I saw a very convincing documentary a while back about him being dead since just a very short time after 9/11 (which he never admitted to being involved in). After being very ill with kidney problems which he need dialysis for. This wouldn't happen to have anything to do with president Obama's massive drop in popularity would it?
  21. It shouldn't do it you de-buil it evenly (gradually loosening the spokes a little bit each).
  22. Do that then add another 2 pawls. Then it would be 72 ep yeh? same as a king. Surely 2 more pawls wouldn't make it noticably heavier though?
  23. If pro2s used different springs and moved some stuff about could another set of 2 pawls be fitted in there to give more engagement? I am always thinking it when i am servicing mine. Has anyone else thought that?
