I'm really liking skyrim. Haven't really got much clue what I'm doing apart from going round doing the quests. I'm really liking skyrim. Haven't really got much clue what I'm doing apart from going round doing the quests.

I'm sure TR clamps are washerless in the first place? And I do like the look these onzas, shame I don't ride anymore otherwise the next frame would be one of these.

They're called locknuts yes. I know about velosolo but they don't do the exact same as the photo. I went round some local bike shops and none of them had any spare! However I've solved (or temporarily) the problem. I've replaced the locknuts on my fixed hub with the cone nuts from my demolition bulimia hub that's the same width as the locknuts on my track hub. I had to drill the cone nuts out to M10 as the bulimia hub cone nuts was 3/8. Now I have a nice looking hub with cone nuts that sits flush with the bearings. I also found out why the originally locknuts cracked though. It was because my rear dropout spacing wasn't 120mm like it's suppose to be, it's more like 128mm when I measured it. I know you can get away with a few mm but 4mm on each side is a lot so when I tighten the rear end the dropouts pull towards each other at an angle like \ / causing more force on one half of the locknut and eventually they cracked.

Who Rides A Saracen Mad Trials Bike In Norwich/norfolk?
weirdoku replied to Laurence--Trials's topic in Trials Chat
Ha, someone hasn't done their job right. Look through the repair list and get the customer number beginning with 8 and do a customer enquiry? I find it strange that the trials rider can't service his own bike. Makes me think he's a noob or it's not his. -
Any Automotive Tools That Might Work To Remove My Freewheel
weirdoku replied to dann2707's topic in Trials Chat
I work in bikehut in my local store and their organisation store is crap. According to my manager our store is in the top 10 in the area/country (I can't remember exactly but we make a lot of money apparently). The rota for work hours are all over the place, days off are never the same each week, unless you're part time, full time they will juggle you about. Last week I've worked 5 days in a row and next week I have 4 days off in a week? I can never plan anything ahead either. And you don't get paid more for overtime unless they REALLY REALLY need you and you tell them the only way you'll work is if you get double pay. I'm making it sound bad I know, and it is in some ways. I'm only there cos I need money though. Once I've saved enough I'll be gone! And in regards to the freewheel, when I tried to take my ENO off. It took a few grown men and a 4-5 foot long scaffolding pole over the cranks for leverage to get it off. Freewheels are bastards. If they come off easily with no extra leverage you're either hulk or something is wrong with the threads! -
That bike looks like its stuck between the old track like bikes and modern fgfs style bikes. It's got a track like frame and thin tyres but bmx cranks and pivotal seat. Quite odd haha, dunno where giant was trying to fit this in

I have twixtor, just no camera to produce the right footage Cool video though.

Dusty insides? Mines been pretty dusty before but never got that smell before. More dust causes higher temps, I would clean everything out and see from there.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

Agreed. Though I'm not married. -
I'm pretty sure it's the thread length, not including the cap head.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread

I'm in southampton, girlfriend is in croydon. Got together near end of uni, been about 6 months now. I see her when I can (I work full time), 4-6 times a month though. -
Don't know if you've already got them or which you went for but you can get some cheap tyres at allterraincycles.

Agree with simps about the fuss with hopes. I have a mono mini sat in my tool box for the past 2 years that needs new seals, bleeding, new pads and hose bits. I just can't be bothered to sort all that out. All those bits would cost me near £30 or more, I bought a complete 2nd hand 180mm BB7 for £35 in the end and never had a problem with it and it was beast.

Bar angle. I don't know the exact angle of mine but they are set in a comfortable position. I set mine up so when I'm sat on the saddle leaning forwards, hands on the bars and arms straight out, my wrists are not at any angle. The bar width can affect this too, too wide bars and your wrists will point inwards, too narrow and your wrists will point outwards. But you probably already knew that XD
-
I don't follow any guides but I wrap mine from the bar end to the middle of the bar, that way the bar tape overlaps itself in the right way. Does that make sense? Like this!

Cannot find a place to buy these anywhere, I need a few on my hubs. 2 have cracked. Anyone know a place I can buy em? Order online somewhere??

Shell width is 68mm, just measured mine. A simple ruler or £25?? I'll go with a ruler. I'm really not sure about the rear brake, gap looks too small. Unless you can find tiny calipers? You can fit a freewheel cogset I suppose on the freewheel threads on the hub, I don't know much about those gear stuff though and definitely no idea about adaptors for a horizontal dropout to fit a hanger. Sorry, I'm not much help with gears!

This particular looking lift has appeared in several of my dreams. It's a vintage looking lift, capsual shaped, red doors and red carpet and gold trims, 10 white buttons and glass windows with gold railing. Anyway, last nights dream I was in a shopping centre and this lift appeared. I got in to go to the 6th floor but everytime this lift has appeared in a dream, it never works right. To get to any floor you have to go to the 10th floor then down to which ever you wanted to, and when it goes down it doesn't stop in line with the floor, it always stops a little lower so when the door opens I have to climb a small ledge to get onto the correct floor. This lift is really mysterious to me, never been in one like that in real life. Might have seen it somewhere, in a film or game perhaps but I can't remember, it was also tiny and only fitted one person at a time.

I don't know what size BB is in my dolan to be honest, crankset was on already on when I got it. But cranks are definitely 175mm. The first spoke calc result on google, here is what I used before I had the app on my phone. Works perfectly fine and accurate. I'd build them yourself and save £25, building wheels really aren't that hard! Theres about 10mm gap between my 25c tyre and the bridge.

They look fine to me, £65 is good. I can't see if it's 2x or 3x on the back wheel though, you don't want anything less than 3x for back wheel. Front radial lacing is fine with rim brakes. Yes they need to be 700c, 650c exist but people use that on the front to drop the front end of the bike. I would stay with 700c front and rear if I was you. Square taper is the norm yes. You can get square BB's dirt cheap, I never settle for things that are not sealed bearings. My sram s100 1.1 cranksets take a power spline BB though, not that common in my case. Spoke calcs, I buy spokes last. I use an app on my phone for that. When all my wheel parts has come I measure them myself then work out what size spokes I need. Just make sure you include the thickness on the inner wall of the rim, I made a mistake once where I forgot to include that and the spokes turned out to be too short. Some companies have their rim ERD's but I don't trust those. I haven't specifically come across a calc that has everything listed, I measure the hub and rim manually and enter it into a calc for spoke size. Tubular compared to clincher. Clincher is your common type. Tubulars need more effort to set up properly, like glue and time for the glue to dry. I stay with clincher, way less hassle. Mine is the track fork (straight, road fork is curved), no brake holes on the fork or frame. rear bridge is about 20mm diameter, is enough to drill a brake hole yes. Front track fork I wouldn't drill one. Not sure about the road one.
