  1. Seriously, what the f**k is going on in here?
  2. Steel freewheel, alloy crank. I've stripped a couple of hubs in the same way
  3. I've seen a couple images of the Rockman 20" forks snapped
  4. I'd just stick 'em in some hot water and squeeze them a few times to push out all the old dirt & dried sweat
  5. Like that a lot. I'm actually currently in the process of applying for a job in Taiwan. What's the scene like there?
  6. I mentioned this a while back too. Is there no way of adding one of those boxes where you have to copy the letters/numbers to prove its a real person posting?
  7. I hate it. Cant stand having to leave work and it already being dark. It seems to just put a 'downer' on everything.
  8. Onza us a system pretty much the same as the Echo one and its always worked perfectly. As said above, the screws are only there to achieve the right tension, the axle bolts are what actually clamp the wheel
  9. This is true. Especially so on the run-up to a new season
  10. Ok, should have worded my post better. Be interesting to know what his new deal is like compared to what he had with Koxx.
  11. Be interesting to know what his deal with them is money-wise compared to his deal with Koxx And yes, he really needs to trim his mop
  12. A quick thing to keep in mind - back in '06 most stocks (and pretty much all Deng frames) still used vertical dropouts and chainstays of around 375mm. This made the higher BB bikes feel pretty nasty on the back wheel and a lot of people are still hesitant to want a higher BB ride. Most bikes now use horizontal dropouts and 380mm stays. This extra length in the CS (add another couple mm on for chain stretch) has really helped to tame bikes with taller BB's and makes them SO much nicer to ride. +55 is now pretty much considered a normal BB rise in 26" 'pure' trials but they feel really neutral compared to the old Deng frames which had roughly the same rise. There is a reason the Echo 26" frames were pretty much the most popular frame I can remember! Best bet is to try and get to a group ride and have a play on a bunch of bikes - see what you like
  13. Great photo's man. Looks like a fun spot to ride too - wish we had more 'official' places in the UK
  14. The stem on my trials bike is worse than this and is fine. I can't see you having any troubles
  15. I will never talk to you again if you do
  16. I though they were lower than that?
  17. We're doing it at work this year for the first time. Should be a laugh
  18. Since I've been riding Mod, I've really enjoyed watching Mod videos - never used to like watching them though I can't put a finger on why. Guess I can just relate to them more now. Love watching the likes of Abel, Zhaoxuan and Benito ride now. I rode rocks with Drei down in Torquay on Sunday on his mod. Was really impressive seeing him ride a bike that he hasn't touched in months and gel with it that quickly. Some beasty stuff was going down
  19. Seriously, how was Hashtagg ever seen as good brand name? I mean, surely there was a meeting between at least 2 people where names were discussed. How shit were the rest for Hashtagg to be the best option?
  20. I especially like that he 'drew in' the display stand on the second image too
  21. I used to ride on my own loads, but the council flattened all the walls and rails in the town centre which were really fun for riding. Now I never ride in Taunton at all 'cause there's f**k all to ride. If no-one is riding, then I'll tend to head to somewhere like West Bay or Lyme Regis for a few hours solo
