Freewheel is a bad example, even if it skipped it was still in one piece and usable. Snapped parts on the other hand aren´t. And because manufacturers are not obliged to support their products with for example 1year warranty, they can make stuff like they do.

Don´t have to but they did and it worked very well. The question is who would buy it nowdays? Noone, it seems to me people are buying lightweight stuff just so they have excuse to buy new parts every three months. About the warranty part, that´s why they offer little to no warranty. 3months for a frame? You gotta be kidding.

Yeah the axles are very thin all the way from crank.

It´s a different story with Sl freewheel though.

I think someone told him to change freewheel/cog with the chain as it´s usual on normal bikes. For trials it´s not necessary though.

I haven´t , but I had been using the old tr´s for 4seasons then sold them, after another 2years they are still going strong. Also used new tr´s for full season and they were the stiffest isis cranks I´ve tried, miles stiffer than tt cranks. Again, they are on my brothers bike now(another year problem free). I weighted between 200-220 when I was using them btw.
