Never really warm up, do some smaller stuff first if that counts?

Best off getting a different bike to be honest. Not matter what brakes that mission has it isn't going to get you very far.

From a quick read through of the spec there are somethings which can go lighter on the monty It uses disc brakes which are heavier Still has a steel bb Uses steel bolts all round
