    Rockman Bikes News

someone please build a rockman switch! i though many people was dying for a 26" bike with a seat and streety geo?
  2. beautiful! no front brakes?
  3. i remember him mentioning that its a Avid.
  4. yup get a good 26" street trial frame up!
  5. very beautiful frame, 26" with a seat is love what is it?
  6. Hello guys, hope to get some opinions for which form of riding, considering the moves they pull are more prone to getting injured. Street riding i mean rolling moves, not riding trial bikes on street. But do consider all options Iam just bored cause i AM injured.
  7. comeon someone build up a switch first =)
  8. should be not much effort is cutting the seat tupe lower, anyway if u were to stuff the whole post in the seat would most prob be alight with the highest height of the ear wheel too cause this is a 26" frame. not sure bout the price yet, or even geometry. Rockman's site is not updated with it. hope my local shop update soon. IMO it will feel like a norco with neutral like slight BB raise, except its alu and its designed for a rigid for an HS33, Vs and disccmounts
  9. nice pictures! and wow its lighter than an inspired. how heavy is the frame alone?
  10. rockman is coming up with a new frame named SWITCH for the 26. Comes in Vs with disc or Maguras with disc. No sure bout its geometry or price, but from some pics i saw it looks short and good =) and it uses nice looking round tubing which looks real clean. check out here http://attitudebikes.wordpress.com/2009/12...rockman-switch/
  11. marino's street trial frame is based on the inspired fourplay geometry =) the different change is material, which also result in change in tubing thickness of various parts of the frame, which can result in a different center of gravity point of the frame, and of course also the weight of it, which is slightly heavier than the fourplay.
  12. nice riding! you are pretty tall, you make a 26" looks like 24" =) how tall are u btw?
  13. Anyone have any idea whats the geo of chris orange bike? the one he uses in his brakeless video
  14. i have away ridden short bikes, whats the main advantage of a long bike? better tgs?
  15. whats the wheel base of a zebdi on a fatty R? i am afraid of being cramped too
  16. hey guys, need some opinions of how the zebdi Mk5 rides. Kinda like what are its strenghts and weakness in tis geometry. managed to dig up one in my area =) well saw Leon's videos, i know he love it
  17. hey u need longer brake cables! get your brake cables/hose extended so that even after a bar spin they are still fairly lose, otherwise u will snap them soon
  18. hello musicality

sorry i cant sell my fork alone. if its going it have to go with my czar frame. the frame and fork set is 220. i can settle for a slightly lower price though, thanks!

    thanks!

    Jason

  19. well but unlike general 24, inspired has a pretty longback end at 385mm chainstay =) a side question, whats a good geometry for a 26" or 24" TGS bike? just curious
  20. more custom bikes coming up.. nice!
  21. thanks Leon! Hope the market starts producing some 26 street trial bikes! we might just suddenly sees a decrease in 24" =p
  22. Still concern bout where its okay some someone above 6 foot or 6 foot 2 to ride a 24". Its not nice feeling cramped up or look out of proportion with the bike. Any 24" riders here who are fairly tall can give some opinions?
  23. i see, but bear in mind the trials/ street trials bike have very low gearing, and is almost always single speed which makes commuting a pain. furthermore 24" wheels are smaller hence they roll even lesser. Do check out the prices of tarty and compare to the sale section, u might find something u like =)
  24. just the frame at 2.75 is pretty heavy! did u manage to find out what was the main reason for the bike sluggist behaviour? was it the geometry or the weight? it might be the CG of the bike too forward as u mentioned that the fork itself is 1.45kg..
