Riding home from work yesterday I see two kids playing with a football in their front garden by the street in a fairly nice countryside area. As I go past they give me the wanker sign, was so tempted to stop and give them a bollocking but I was going full steam ahead.

I had a year of 50bhp caddy and 65bhp Honda jazz unrestricted and it was so fun. I did crash the jazz into a wall though haha.

Luckily gearbox wasn't broken, I genuinely thought it had. And someone I know who is clued up mechanically thought so too at first. Thankfully the worst that's come of this is destroyed heatshield, boost pipe that goes up to the turbo from underneath with very nearly worn hole in from rubbing against drive shaft every time it moved. My goddd the car feels SO much nicer to drive now, such a good feeling.

Halfords is quite store dependant and I'm quite lucky to have a decent one I guess, they don't really care if you don't hit sales targets at mine. Just as long as you don't get complaints. I've been really honest with how shit Trax bikes are to customers and I had one bloke say "Ah well its cheap it'll keep me fit" and I just sighed and said "if that's what you're happy with then go for it" as nicely as I could. Plus cause I'm deaf I can blag not taking phone calls, I can pass customers onto another colleague if I want to haha. And they've just built me a repair bay out back so they said I can repair bikes there without customer interaction if I want but to be honest I think dealing with customers makes the time go by quickest especially when you get regulars who just love to chat. Oh and on top of that, everyone gets on with eachother so well. Two of the managers at my store did burnouts when we left the other day, a guy who works checkout rides his bmx in the store when it's quiet. And a mechanic who works with me goes on about insane car stories and the motorsport projects he's working on we could talk for hours. I could go on, but I genuinely believe it's very store dependant. The only real downside to my store is the manager of bikehut has major mood swings and I'd say the job is only stressful when he's stressed. He took it out on me the other day and I accidentally gave him silent treatment and he came up to me and said "sorry I wasn't having a go at you, the more I nag you you'll get it in your head and learn quicker". I just laughed and said fair enough. I'll stop going on now, but yeah, love my store, pay could be better but doesn't feel like a job so alls good.

Barely barely drivable at the moment. If I'm lucky oil levels may just be low, not looking good at the moment though. Sounds like flywheel is about to fall off, the synchromesh is making horrific noise when under load. Also engine is misfiring slightly but that's cause one of the injectors are slightly blocked I'm fairly sure on that. Yeah it has the hole in the bell housing fortunately, been looking at new gearboxes should take a day to replace or so if I do need one. Unfortunately it's about £400 or so which basically means I'm gonna have to start cycling everywhere again.

I cant even remember, partly because I was at reading all weekend and been trying to use social media less and less recently. Found myself having a lot more time to do stuff as a result of that.

Reading was one of the best weekends of my life, lost all my friends, every single night and came back to tent with new mates every single time. Got to see TrialsIsHard briefly too haha, but it was insanely hard trying to meet people.
