Got my cambelt done the other day Dan, was actually slightly cracked and 3 degrees out of line, apparently you can do up to 7 without any "issues" though.

Some 3rd party chargers work with it but it's rare, weird I know. Not sure why but ah well! Just as long as it works and your mother is happy

You know they have like 3 separate boot containers right? My Dad keeps his bike toolkits in one of them... They're not massive but incredibly useful.

He didn't state if it was an estate or not? And I was just saying that the smaller engined version wasn't that fun, and that a VRS is the one I'd go for if I had pick of the mix. What's the problem?

Estate or saloon? Drove a 1.6tdi estate to the Italian Alps and back and it was a real pleasure to drive, didn't have much grunt though so would definitely want a bigger engine/more boost if it was my car.

That is a very, very nice mk2. Stuff dreams are made of. You'd be silly not to get it in my opinion but I love classic Volkswagens so I'm biased!

Check oil line? Mine had the tiniest crack but liked to leak oil nicely.
