don't helicoil it to m6 just drill and tap

M6 but just run the same drill through your clamps and it will run sweet, more torque too. could use a pillar drill if you have access to one...

those chains will snap with more ease due to bad chain line because of the holes in them.

how's everyone finding the best way to cut em? Wet stanley blade? Dremel?

Ah man, I can imagine it being impossible to improve with bad weather. Make obstacles that are off camber (all different angles) to improve you control and practice for natty. as opposed to just making everything 90 degrees. Also make precise things like thin gaps and sidehops to improve your accuracy.

CLS never really did much preload either... The way I think of it you're preloading hard enough if your tyre rims it.
