  1. at 4:00 in that edit, that gap reminds me of the austin church gap that jimmy levan nailed in road fools 1... so crazy! incase you havent seen road fools 1, watch it, it brings back so many good memory's for me, i remember watching it every single day on my vhs before every ride, would still watch it every single day even if we weren't goin riding! here's a link to the second part of the full video http://www.propsbmx.tv/road-fools-1-part-2/
  2. that bail on the first video at 4:50, he can backflip over that sketchy step up spine thingy but managed to wipeout riding past it im not criticising, just found it amusing.
  3. haha even though i want to buy that element of you, i would much rather see this happen >
  4. throw a video up bud! but to be honest, those symptoms are pretty much the same thing every single rider goes through whilst learning 180's by the sounds of it what bike are you attemting them on??
  5. definately true this! i reckon an inspired will certainly outlast any other aluminium trials frame on the market though?
  6. what about an inspired?? or is that not your kind of thing?, im not sure what style of riding you do but im pretty sure an inspired is pretty much the only frame isn't going to break if you've managed to break everything else
  7. normally i hate blue but that team looks gooooood! any idea when these will be available as a frame only? currently saving every penny i can earn towards a new frame, im going to need one before the summer, as my frame is just not safe to ride anymore
  8. that was awesome silky smooth style and some of those lines were very original/creative and really enjoyable to watch, your gaps are getting huge too i want to see more of this!
  9. it might be worth taking a spanner to those v-brake lugs on the rear seatstays there bud and winding them out, especially if your running a rear disc, on my last bike i was running a similar setup and i remember i was catching my jeans on them all the time so i just took them off.
  10. i thought that was pretty cool, i wish i had an ounce or two of your creativity could definately sense the sean watson style of riding/editing which is always pure win... on that subject, i cant wait to see a new edit from sean watson his videos always make me want to go out and ride which is what it's all about keep it up miles i look forward to seeing some more creativeness from you soon.
  11. mental bmx mate, how much was that? is it fast? get ready for literally hundreds of idiots dressed head to toe in addidas tracksuits to ask you the above questions repeatedly, everywere you go on that anyway in all seriousness, that is a very nice build for a beg and borrow.. i mean that spec has got to be ten times better than half of the standard equipment on a new complete zoot i think the only thing that it could do with cosmetically would be a matching pair of tyres, and maybe take a nice rattlecan of gloss black to the rear rim to match the front if your going to be running a rear disc, after that i think it would be a genuinely good looking bike! look forward to seeing some fully finished pics when its all done, or maybe even a little bit of riding footage! i bet you will love the way the frame ride's, i bought a zoot a year ago and friggin loved it, perfect geo for almost any style of riding and horizontal dropouts make it a winner! im running a zoot pro frame-kit now and its such a nice frame to ride.
  12. looks luuuush, also looks like its setup to ride rather nicely too what rims are they? and is the front rim the same as the rear?? or is it just my crummy eyesight that makes the front rim look way thinner than the rear rim! im set on getting a pair of spank rim's (i think they look rather tasty, and pretty strong) but not too sure on which to choose.
  13. MASSIVE YES!! really enjoyed that, some huge riding in there, and im still sat here trying to work out how your wheels/wrists/ankles didn't just collapse on some of those big drops the whole video was awesome but i have to say my 2 favourite lines in that were at 45-50 seconds, and the line at 55-1:01, much prefer to see flowy and creative lines like that rather than just going up and down stuff! really looking forward to the next video now

    My Zoot

was thinking if you were going to be using that in a park then definately a bit of a more heavy duty drivetrain would suit it perfectly, also being a more street orientated bike i would go for the stronger, more reliable option if you can afford it! (option 2 obviously) i think the main reason the zoot comes with a drivetrain setup like that is because they are made on a budget, i can imagine it would be pretty hard for them to put a reasonable freehub setup on it and keep the rrp so low at around £500!

    My Zoot

looking good mate not overly keen on the stem though, perhap's it's because ive never seen one before, that park looks proper fun too! i absolutely loved my zoot, everything about it! (im riding a zoot pro now) i just wish they both were a bit stronger/beefier around the chainstay area and the seat stays, just to help with the longevity of the frame and obviously they should put the price up a teeny bit to compensate for this. i think they would be a really good alternative to the fourplay if this was to happen. just out of interest, what sort of drive train upgrade were you considering?
  16. get the echo for sure.. absolutely nothing wrong with jumping on a bandwagon every now and then. also not trying to start anything here but on the subject of bottom bracket's, i would much rather have a nice strong spanish bottom bracket, im not a huge fan of the isis system or infact any threaded style bottom bracket! i think all frame's should just have a big non-threaded hole in them for a bottom bracket so you can just smash some bearings into the hole and be done with it no special tool's required for removing/fitting a spanish bb too seen a video of randy taylor the other day and he is installing his brand new bb into his brand new frame using his crank arm as a hammer, now that is just pure win! another thing is the fact that every part of every spanish bb is replaceable.
  17. it look's like all you need to do is commit to it approxiamtely 0.5% more and you will have nailed them, the only thing i noticed that may help you a little bit is to throw your weight a teeny bit further forwards immediately after you jam your foot in the tyre, like lean over the stem a little further perhaps, i find it helps me anyway. make sure you post a vid of you nailing them when you've got them (which will be in about 24 hours i reckon seeing as your that close already )
  18. me too, care to elaborate as to why?? i have to manual brakeless because even when i put the brakes back on my bike im running a rear hs33 with hs yellow's on a sharp grind... and the last thing you wan't whilst manualing is a rear brake with instant bite and incredible hold. (i really need to build myself a more suitable rear brake setup, it's a bit overkill for a pro zoot that gets used mainly for street haha) also my brake's are coming back off in about 20 minutes time (if i can find that pesky t25 to take of my disc), damn you mr westlake and your clean blog haha, every time i check the clean site it leads to me ending up down in my shed ripping my brakes off .. my task for this year is to finally get a 2nd bike built as a dedicated brakeless 24, get heck loads more practice in and hopefully one day shred with some the rider's on here.
  19. looking good man get ready to have the most fun/crashes you've had on your bike ever also it's a rule now to anybody who tries this, you aren't allowed to put your brakes back on untill you can do a manual for atleast a mile without them haha after all the types of bikes i've ridden and all the styles of riding i've attempted... nothing is more satisfying than when you get brakeless manuals dialled!
  20. here's a nice quote from the 'terms of service' section on the site "All prices and descriptions are subject to change at anytime without notice" also this is genuinely the only thing that they have written in the 'about' section of the site to describe themselves, "9224c16c69145d7029b7c9d6068db52f"... coincedently i happened to type exactly the same thing the other day with my face when i fell asleep on my keyboard. instead of spending any of your money on that site i reckon your cash would be much safer if you left it in a tracksuit pocket on the floor outside a coucil estate in brimingham.
  21. i think that's the point he was making i.e there is also different types of trials bikes, comp, natty, street, street trials (or more commonly known/mistaken on this forum as bmx) edit, do i get anything for 4th place?
  22. im trying my best to not get involved here but im pretty sure luke didn't mention anything about comps being 'just back wheel moves', though he did mention 'on one wheel'.. which could be either one of the two wheels that most bike's have fitted to them.

    X7 Borisevish

i think its just further evidence to suggest that he isn't human. massive riding, amazing style.. and he's one of the very few people that actually look 'right' on a trails bike if that make's any sense
  24. as has already been said they are 2 completely different bike's, so depends what kind of riding your going to do, if i was literally made of money, i would have both if you want something that is capable of nearly every single aspect of riding, then go for the skye, its almost made entirely from win! also it looks like it's been built strong enough to withstand the next few ice ages, infact its so strong my mate dangerous dave (this is absolutely true) he said that he saw danny mac testing this frame and he done a static drop to flat from an aeroplane that was up at 18,000ft, he landed it, the bike was fine so he pulled over and said what were you worried about! or alternativley, buy the echo and restrict yourself to tgs only! look's like such an awesome bike to ride though, looks really flicky and light, but really fragile! i really want one of these, purely to see how high i can hop it and how quickly i can snap it clean in half but for me (in my own opinion) big bmx's for the win everytime.
